Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rush Townsend (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, Splinterlands friends!!!

I will take advantage of this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge to talk about a legendary card from the Fire element that has caught my attention since the introduction of the new Rebellion card edition. I've been committed to upgrading it to level 3 right away: I'm talking about Rush Townsend.

The price, also thanks to the crypto market being very low these days, has dropped to only $4 per card.

This card is quite heavy in terms of mana cost, 9 points, but the cost/benefit ratio of this monster is favorable from level 1: with 4 Ranged, 4 Speed and Health, 1 Armor, but most importantly, the new Rebellion ability called Ambush, which allows an attack before the battle starts, combined with the always devastating Affliction ability, creates a devastating combination from level 1.

At the last upgrade level, level 4, it gains two more abilities, Piercing, which pierces through enemy armor, and Amplify.

The combination that forms between this card and my favorite summoner, Yodin Zaku, is incredible: with +1 in Ranged and the Blast ability, Rush Townsend becomes, without a doubt, one of the strongest cards in the Rebellion edition.

Unfortunately, the Mana Cap of 32 did not allow me to choose Yodin Zaku, because I would have had too little mana left to choose the monsters on the field, so I relied on Tarsa, who is excellent in these situations: my team consisted of Tusk the Wide, Gobalano Soldier, Torch Vizier, Tenyii Striker, Scorch Fiend, and in the last position our dear protagonist of this post, Rush Townsend.

My opponent, on the other hand, relied on the summoner Eternan Brune, deploying Iidry Fyre, Krash Wanderford, Firecaller, Sorriel the Bale, Flame Mephit and, finally, the usual Scorch Fiend.

I managed to win by Round 3 without losing any monsters on the field, and I got great help from Rush Townsend, with his 5 Ranged attacks, which started hitting Iidry Fyre before the battle began, destroying all his Armor points, thanks to his Ambush and Piercing abilities.

Buonasera amici di Splinterlands!!!

Sfutterò il Splinterlands Social Media Challenge di questa settimana, per parlare di una carta leggendaria dell'elemento Fire, che fin dall'introduzione della nuova edizione di carte Rebellion, ha attirato la mia attenzione, tanto che, mi sono impegnato subito a potenziarla fino al livello 3: sto parlando di Rush Townsend.

il prezzo, anche grazie al mercato crypto che è molto in ribasso in questi giorni, si è abbasato a solo 4 $ per carta.

Carta abbastanza pesante in termini di costo di mana, ovvero 9 punti, però il rapporto costo/benefici di questo mostro si dimostra favorevole fin dal livello 1: con 4 di ranged, 4 di Speed e Health,1 di Armor, ma, soprattutto, la nuova abilità Rebellion di nome Ambush, che consente di sferrare un attacco prima dell'inizio della battagia, insieme alla sempre devastante abilità Affliction, crea una combinazione devastante già fin dal livello 1.

All'ultimo livello di potenziamento, quello 4, ottiene altra due abilità, Piercing, che trapassa le armature avversarie, e Amplify.

Incredibile diventa l'accoppiata che si forma tra questa carta e il mio evocatore preferito, Yodin Zaku: prendendo +1 in Ranged e l'abilità Blast, Rush Townsend diventa, senza dubbio, una delle carte più forti dell'edizione Rebellion.

Purtroppo il Mana Cap di 32 non mi ha consentito di scegliere Yodin Zaku, perchè avrei avuto pochi mana per poter scegliere i mostri in campo, quindi mi sono affidato a Tarsa , che comunque è ottimo in questa situazioni: la mia squadra era composta da Tusk the Wide, Gobalano Soldier, Torch Vizier, Tenyii Striker, Scorch Fiend, ed in ultima posizione il nostro caro protagonista di questo post, Rush Townsend.

Il mio avversario, invece, si è affidato all'evocatore Eternan Brune, schierando in campo Iidry Fyre, Krash Wanderford, Firecaller, Sorriel the Bale, Flame Mephit e, per finire, il solito Scorch Fiend.

Sono riuscito a vincere già al Round 3, senza perdere nessun mostro in campo, ed una grande mano me l'ha data Rush Townsend, con i suoi colpi da 5 di Ranged, che hanno iniziato a colpire da prima dell'inizio della battaglia Iidry Fyre, distruggendo tutti i suoi punti Armor, grazie alle sue abilità Ambush e Piercing.
