Essential Guidelines for Novice Splinterlands Adventurers

In the previous week, we were tasked with discussing our Splinterlands journey. While I did share some tips in that post and my GOAL for #SPS which is the governance token of the game. This week's focus is specifically on tips tailored for beginners. Before we get any further it is imperative to know what Splinterlands is all about:: - Splinterlands in a nutshell is a strategic trading card game that enables players to engage in battles against real opponents. The cards in the game represents NFT [Non Fungible Tokens] and the players who owns them are the real owners of it. Each battle introduces distinct challenges, requiring players to construct a formidable lineup within the confines of limited resources and battle-imposed constraints to emerge victorious. The cards in the game have different abilities and are of different rarity like:: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary..players love to have legendary cards as these cards have the minimum numbers of prints. And then we have the different Elements coming into picture the various Elements are:: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon & Neutral - which is my favorite element cards that I have been collecting since the beginning when I started to play the game around November, 2018 and continue to play till date as well.

Strategy Tips for Beginners - 10 ON 10...

I'll keep the tips simple and straight forward in pointers::

1. Explore card rentals incase you are not will to buy cards pack for the internal market.
2. Right now we have the REBELLION SALE going on so take the advantage of it by buying cards in Pre Sale offer
3. Start with building your own cards deck and try to max/combine cards if possible
4. Focus on building NEUTRAL rarity cards; one of my favorite you can play these cards in any format of the game
5. Practice is the KEY to get better in the game
6. Build your Splintershards aka SPS which is the governance token of the game. Staking #SPS gives out rewards at an APR of above 15%
7. In doubt - Visit the assistance section on the Splinterlands website and thoroughly review all available resources
8. Stack #DEC which is another in-game token in the game
9. Join a Guild, Play in Tournaments as this should help you get extra rewards. Paying is small entry fee will get you bigger rewards
10. Formulate your own game plan and try building it further
11. Most importantly have FUN..playing the game and be a proud owner of the NFT cards... Bonus point
12. Don't be in a RUSH... you will get there on the leaderboard for sure...

What about community? - Yes I am coming to it as well.. we do have community love for Splinterlands player as well...Lets talk about it.

Engaging in chat discussions allows you to pose questions to experienced players, with multiple individuals typically eager to offer assistance. Additionally, there are Telegram groups that cater to beginners, providing another valuable resource for support and guidance. This is was one of my favorite places to learn about what different players are talking about the game - their strategies and the game plan moving forward. At last will end this post with my total assets value in the game

Its taken me 4 Years to get here where I #HODL 13K+ cards in the game and they are worth $24K+. The game has given me a lot honestly speaking, if I were to put a number then I would say that I have already made 4x of my investment. The plan ahead that I have is to give out my cards on rents and keep building my #SPS stake where my new GOAL for SPS is to stake 400K+ SPS tokens and get that sweet APR of above 15%.... cheers
