Splinterlands - My Journey & Strategy Ahead - targeting 400K+ SPS...

My involvement with Splinterlands began when the Beta SALE was launched. I wished I would have been the part of the game during the Alpha stage itself but missed that opportunity. Since then, I've actively participated in the Splinterlands community, doing my best to contribute in various ways. In addition to steadily expanding my collection of in-game assets, I've been meticulously devising a strategy to amass a stake of at least 400K+ #SPS after having completing the GOAL of 300K+ SPS staked. What an achievement - I would say and to be honest consistency has been the key here along with a long term vision helped me achieve thus far in the game. Today marks the realization of my long-cherished goal for #SPS, which is in itself is a momentous achievement. However, it's somewhat disheartening to witness the current #SPS price trading close to its historical low.

Who would have thought to see #SPS trading close to some cent? Anyways we cannot help with the price of the token and its market job to decided where to take the token price. Along the lines of - Discovery of Splinterlands then I must say that I used to follow @exyle and his many posts and videos around Splinterlands convinced me to explore the game and to be precise I was part of this amazing community sometime in November, 2018 so its been almost 5+ Years that I discovered Splinterands. Lets now have a looks at my current #SPS stake::

My Current SPS Stake - 331K+ Staked & Compounding

Ok, now before I delve any further, it's crucial to understand the governance token of the game Splinterlands which is Splintershards aka SPS. As noted above, I initially invested in the game during its beta sale and ever since have consistently kept investing buying new packs, land, sps and many other assets in the game. To be candid, my investment in this game has yielded an impressive 10x+ return, and the potential for further gains remains significant as I continue to invest in the game by building my #SPS stake. I had the good fortune to acquire a "Land Tract" which is like 100 plots at precisely the right moment, just before land prices skyrocketed. I am holding onto this land, as it is expected to gain more utility in the game's with upcoming land expansion plans on the horizon. Here is a glimpse of plots the I #HODL in the game::

What are my Upcoming Goals in the GAME...

The point to note here is that it's not only the staking of $SPS that has been beneficial to me in building my ingame assets in the game but various other sources, such as my rental income and Splinterland assets like TowerDefense, Land, and License Node, are also making daily contributions that gives me #SPS as rewards. Through LAND, License Node, and TowerDefense packs, I'm currently receiving approximately 180+ $SPS on a daily basis. Additionally, I'm earning around 250+ $SPS daily through LP rewards. This presents an additional advantage that will aid me in reaching my new GOAL for SPS which is 400K+ SPS to stake and get that sweet above 15% APR rewards too. The price of the cards in the internal market have been selling for cheap so I have no plans to sell any of the cards that I #HODL but would be looking for opportunities where I would like to focus on the monster cards which I haven't axed out. Yes, I do HODL 13.3K+ cards in the game and as per peakmonsters portal the value of cards using the list price is worth $18K+ not that bad at all. But there was a time when the game was at its peak all my cards were worth $50K+ anyways lets focus in present and I look forwards to further build my cards collection and I am looking forwards to buying some REBELLION before the pre sale ends - we still have 9 days left before the sale ends and have close to 197K+ packs remaining to be SOLD out.

Advice for Beginners... Don't Rush Enjoy the GAME...

There is no need to RUSH just take it easy and enjoy the game at first. I have seen instances where folks have opened a $5 card pack and they have got NFTs worth a couple of thousand of dollars and on the other end there are players who are buying these cheap NFTs at the moment for a better price tomorrow. So there are a lot of strategies that can be made and you just need to focus on the one that best suites you. Giving my example right now I am focusing on building my #DEC stake as well and in order to do so at the moment I have rent out my cards. The point that I am trying to make is that are many ways in the GAME that one can leverage to their advantage.

Another example if you are falling short of money to buy cards then you can just look for renting those cards from the internal market. Join or play in the higher league to receive more rewards. Stake #SPS to receive an APR of above 15%, one can delegate their SPS as well and I have been doing so as well to stack my #DEC bag..there are endless opportunities in the GAME I'll echo one more time. You can see from the above image delegating SPS is giving out an APR of above 10% so that's an option too as well to earn #DEC... On a closing note if I was to give only one recommendation then it would be focus on the governance token of the game which is SPS - try to accumulate as may SPS tokens as you can and stake them all... And I am doing the same and until #SPS moons I am not selling a single token and will continue to build my stake... cheers
