Interesting facts about Splinterlands Game Characters : GOBLIN SHAMAN

Hello All Splinter warriors,

I noticed that there are numerous characters in this game and had always wondered about their origin. Are these just made for this game or there is more to this ? So I did some research on internet about all the characters.

Interestingly, there are some stories behind these characters, these stories are from ancient sagas, old mythological stories etc.

I was so fascinated about their backgrounds that I thought of writing about them.

This is my first post of this series, hopping to write more in the future 😀😀

Ok, so let start.

I am going to talk about GOBLIN SHAMAN today:

Here is how it looks like (in the game):

From the Game Lore section :

Goblins are everywhere in the Burning Lands, but they are all larger and stronger than the Goblins of Anumün. The Goblin Shaman of the Smoldering Forest are especially skilled in slowing and weakening their enemies with enchantments. Many of them can hypnotize with a simple gaze from their blood-red eyes

A quick internet search will tells you about the history of Goblins.

They represent an overall fear of the dark and unknown, with the tacit admission that humans can’t necessarily fight back against those things that can’t be seen.

Goblins are a class of creatures rather than a single creature.

These are the weakest monsters and usually attack or steal for survival. They live in caves and are all male species .
They can breed with any other species and always produce a goblin.
Goblins have an excellent night vision and strong smelling sense.

Shamans :

Shamans are one of many types of Goblins.

They have gained the ability to use magic. They often lead nests and are intelligent enough to make crude strategies. The presence of goblin totems in a goblin nest are indicators that a shaman is present.
