Hive DRIP Starts Staking Rewards - 149% APY starting today!
As you know, we sold out of our pre-sale in 5 days. We had planned on starting staking rewards 30 days after launch. We're ahead of schedule and pushing code through tonight. So in addition to your daily payout in swap.hive (whether you hold liquid or staked DRIP) we will be paying out daily DRIP coins based on how many you have staked.
Example
If you started with 1000 DRIP staked, you'll receive 2.5 coins the first day of staking rewards. If you then restake those coins, you'd earn 2.50625 additional DRIP the next day. If you did this each day for a year without ever purchasing more coins you'd have 2487.71 DRIP coins. Since the Swap.Hive payout is per coin and we plan to increase the payout slightly each month you'd be receiving more than 2.5 times your current hive payout. The power of compounding is huge so don't forget to restake!
Staking Rewards
You'll receive exactly .25% of your staked DRIP tokens rewarded daily in liquid DRIP coins. This is a 149% APY. Coins paid out are liquid so you'll need stake them daily if you want to keep compounding your rewards.

What is Hive DRIP coin?
DRIP is a crypto-coin on the HIVE blockchain that invests into GameFI projects, basically projects that combine gaming with blockchain technology. We believe this will be one of the top growth areas in all of crypto over the next 5-10 years.

how do you keep value in the drip token? Wouldn't it make sense to sell instantly? Also, would you accept Hive delegation for tokens?
It's an asset backed fund. I'll be posting a monthly update with our holdings soon. We don't reward for hp delegation currently.
Why start out with the tokenomics in such a ponzi model? I don't get it, why not just sell equally to everyone and then try build value for those buyers, maybe some staking rewards if you really want to reward early buyers, but these artificial price increases just makes it look super sketchy.
The first year will have significantly higher staking rewards but our daily payout will only go up. We've already created a lot of value for our early holders. All Hive is used to buy assets. Our fund is backed by crypto assets in GameFi projects. Please check out our whitepaper. Thank you!
I checked, didn't say who's behind the project, no proof of any backings you claim here nor anything. Really hard to take this serious.

Who is behind the project? Do they have any sort of reputation on Hive? It's not too much to ask for a project asking people to invest in them. You mentioned holdings in other currencies outside Hive, that's what I was asking for proof of, not that you'd need to show it but it would give some kind of trust to others if that's your goal. If not I don't see why people should invest their Hive into this, I personally wouldn't.
