Skip Rebellion Mini Set And Plan For A New Core Set

Does a mini set for Rebellion needed at this time?

A mini set may not be needed for Rebellion because of the current market value of the game tokens and NFTs. A mini set may not be a successful sale for the company if they continue to release it because there is no demand. For whales, there is but how about the others? They must continue or focus on the New Player Experience (NPE) and Marketing to attract new players and investors and increase the market value of the game tokens and NFTs.

Instead of a mini set, they must plan the next core set they will release. They should prepare it in advance for the upcoming bull run if there is and if they want a revenue share for the sale. This will also move the Chaos Legion core, reward, and mini-set in the Wild League. We can now say goodbye to those over-supply chaos legion cards. This will bring more excitement and new gameplay in the modern league battles because of the new core set that will be released in addition to the Rebellion cards. Also, the new abilities that modern cards possess can create new synergy in the game battle.

Vouchers and Voucher Shop

The sunset of the voucher tokens as a discount in buying packs and the use of it in purchasing extra energy for more battles is a good sign for the game token (DEC). It means there will be more (DEC) sink and utilization for the token. Additionally, vouchers earned in-game by staking SPS will not be able to be transferred to the secondary and third-party markets. This will also apply to voucher tokens that are transferred in-game from secondary markets.

Voucher Shop is a good idea that will be added in-game. This will create a utilization for the token. Through the voucher shop players and holders of the said token can buy cards exclusive for vouchers only. The voucher shop will be live on September 3, 2024, after the maintenance.

Splinterlands should focus on the utilization of their token centered on SPS and DEC only. They should not create any other tokens that will distract the utilization of their main token. By the time these tokens have more utilization, this will maybe bring back the value or at least make the value of the tokens go up.

That will wrap up my Splinterlands "Social Media Challenge" for this week. I hope this is a good post for everyone. Thank you for reading this post and see you again next week for another Splinterlands challenge. Continue battling and see you in the arena. Ciao!!!

I prefer a mini set. Matt has said that of they don't do a mini set, the next will release sooner. The biggest impact is that the cheap CL cards will rotate out of Modern. I don't want that. Also, eventually it also makes it so that Rebellion cards will rotate out of Modern sooner.

Well said.

Do you think they should implement 3 core set in modern including mini-sets and soulbound reward cards?

I think it's too early for that. The game is still young and has few sets for a change like that. We have Alpha/Beta, Untamed, Chaos Legion, and Rebellion. That's 4 main sets. If the next set introduced 3 main sets in Modern we'd have more than half the sets in Modern. Maybe one day when we have 10 sets (if we get there).
