🔥Clear the Stern with Vicar🔥

cover.png

Sanctus Vicar Logan Rockford, high priest of the Church of Gryyja, Goddess of Protection, joined the citizens of Feranon when they rose against the Chaos Empire. Without him, the uprising would have failed before it began. He worked tirelessly to cleanse the rebels of the afflictions cast upon them by the legion’s mages and unholy priests. It is he who kept them fighting, defending his allies while simultaneously slinging great gouts of fire at the surrounding legionnaires.

Greetings fellow Splintermages. Did you pick up any of the new promo cards? They were a bit pricey for me so I just rented them to see if I liked them first. That's one of the things I love about Splinterlands cards. You can try before you buy. Getting attacked in the rear with some poison attack seems to happen a lot so I think Sanctus Vicar and his ability to cleanse it will make him a must-have card from now on. He will also come in handy during poisonous gas battles especially if he's at level four and cleanses both front and rear cards.

What happened to getting airdropped promo cards for holding SPS? I liked getting that Vruz card and looked forward to getting more, but it seems it was a one-off. If players know they'll get promo cards airdropped they'll be more likely to stake SPS even if they don't play the game anymore.

I like to get my cards to MAX-level, but at $2 a card, this will be out of my budget so I'll have to settle for just a level one or two card. It would be good to get him to level four where he cleanses both the front and the rear, but that would still be about forty bucks which I think would be better spent on SPS so I can earn more Glint and cool reward cards.

I probably would've won this battle without Sanctus Vicar, but it was nice to cleanse my rear card from that annoying snake's poisonous bite. Getting in some ranged attack and the ability to summon him in either fire or water splinters makes him an attractive card in my opinion. Since he uses a snake for a belt he probably gets bit a lot and is immune to snake venom. Have you ever been bitten by a snake? It's not fun, but if you survive and you get bit again you'll most likely have little reaction to the venom the second time. It's kind of like us long-term Splinterlands players. We've survived a few bear markets and if another one comes along, we'll just collect more cards and power.

I'm not doing so hot on my promo card ownership as I only own four of them. They're good to have because they usually do unusual things and help you earn more Glint and SPS with their bonuses. How about you? How many promo cards do you have? Thanks for reading about my Sanctus Vicar battle today. I hope your promo collection is doing better than mine.
