Some say a few unfortunate Unicorns have been possessed or controlled by a strange form of Chaos Magic because they seem to be serving the will of greedy mortals. Have you ever seen a Unicorn care for treasure or battle that wasn't in self-defense? Just the other day a Mustang Unicorn was killed by a team of white and dark Unicorns protecting some loot chests!

How's it going fellow Splintermages? Have you opened any of the new reward loot chests we earn whenever we rank up to a new League? I had a lot of fun opening all the chests I got for making it to the Diamond League so I'll be pushing hard to make it to 🏆Champion🏆 this season and hopefully win some cool Epic and Legendary cards which are very expensive at over seven and thirty-five-thousand Glint per draw. I've opened one of every Rebellion reward card except for the Legendaries, so I'm glad I can get back to the grind of getting all my common cards to MAX-level now that I'll be seeing more Rare, Epic, and Legendaries in chests. Seeing these chests sure makes me happy and want to play the game now so I'm sure it is a good sign Splinterlands is working on a better new and old player experience.

The Sacred Unicorn was a card you could win in chests and easily level up to MAX just by playing back in the Beta days and would often win fights, but there are newer cards that have outshined it. It's a great card to work your Land because it earns ten times what a newer card does. I wish I'd saved the few Golds I'd opened back in the Beta days because they would've earned a ton of SPS during the one year of daily airdrops. It can be hard to kill and is pretty dangerous with its piercing melee attacks if you can hit it a second time after its Divine Sheild denys the first attack. I rarely see my bot use the Sacred Unicorn so its lost its meta, but it's still a cool looking card and has always been my favorite.
