Brawl Report #102 - Losing most of my matches in Brawls

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. It's been a while since I missed the rewards screen, but I can still grab the battles that I had. I lost most of my fights like usual.

Brawl fights

There were 1 fights that I won and 5 that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match. My opponent had the speed advantage and he also had more damage dealers. I had too many monsters that couldn't attack.

You can find the second match here. I won this match and I was fighting an enemy without having a level disadvantage. I just had more damage compared to my opponent.

You can find the third match here. I lost this match and the magic monsters just destroyed me when his summoner also buffs them.

You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match because of my opponent's speed advantage. I couldn't do much when my backline got destroyed.

You can find the fifth match here. I lost this match because of the Kulu Mastermind. That weapons training when combined with the ruleset was too dangerous.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match and my opponent just had more damage. I couldn't do much against all of that.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 1 win and 5 losses. I didn't do so well but at least I didn't lose every single match. My rewards for the brawl were 4,238 merits and 65.25 SPS in the 4 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked in 7th place. The rank isn't the best but the rewards from 4 star brawls isn't so bad. I do think that I did get 1 or 2 free wins from guilds where didn't submit their matches so I probably had more than just 1 win for the brawl round, but I can't be sure.

Conclusion

My performance was the same as usual. I didn't do so great but that was expected as my cards aren't up to par. I am at a level disadvantage but I do what I can. My guild hasn't been as active so we are just making do with what we can. The rewards do add up so long as I make sure to submit my matches every single brawl. The level disadvantage is the biggest issue for me.
