Soulkeep League 3

I've done it. I finally collected the necessary souls to move up to league 3.

I haven't added significantly to my collection since my last post, but I will highlight a couple of cards for consideration.

If you've watched any Soulkeep content on YouTube then you know Quad Killer is everyone's favorite tower. This tower was so popular that they had to nerf it. Now if you have access to the Quad Killer, you only get to place a single tower per map. I haven't bought a copy yet, but I did finally rent one. and the quad killer is the real deal. Easily the most powerful tower that I've worked with.

For just 15 mana, you can put Gear Grease onto your most powerful tower (see the aforementioned Quad Killer). The tower fires nearly twice as fast which basically makes it twice as powerful for just 15 mana). You can upgrade your towers which usually costs more than the initial purchase of the tower. This is just as powerful for just 15 mana. The biggest difficulty being that you only get to use Gear Grease 4x per map. I usually wait until the last 4 waves on a given map to start using Gear Grease.

How did I get the last 6 legendary souls for league 2?

First I would join the day's tournament.

Across the top bar of the intro screen, you can see what you're getting into. This one looks a little different because it's a gateway level for league 3, instead of a tournament.

You can click on the little picture of a map to see what map you'll be playing on. The maps are also named, so you'll probably start to recognize them by name after a while.

You can click on the little fiend picture to see which fiends you'll face. In league 2, not every map will include legendary fiends.

If you see Baby Jacko on the list then you're in luck, this is your chance to collect some legendary souls. When I saw Baby Jacko on the list I would rent a Quad Killer and pay a few tickets to play the tournament a couple of extra times. Once I started doing this, I had the souls required to move on within a week or so.

Now that I'm in league 3, you can see that I'll need to collect nearly 10x as many legendary souls to move up again. I expect that this will take a while, but it should be a fun challenge. Also, I've got a new set of gateway levels to work through.
