Waking up to a friend's text “send in your measurements” reminds me of an unforgettable and funny experience I had some years ago.

One of my Aunty's wedding was coming up.
I am my cousin planned to sew the same material and style, we intended to use it and storm the wedding dancing together.
Like we wanted to surprise her because when she added us among the ashoebi, we told her we had an exam that week.

My cousin and I studied in different states, it's surprising how my Aunty believed us.

We continued with our plans, I was to find someone to take my measurements and send to my cousin who was with the material.
Then she will take it to a tailor to sew for us.

I had a course mate (friend) that knows how to sew.
Yes, I have seen her wearing the gowns and jumpsuits she made.
So, I met her and told her how I needed my measurements.
She agreed to take my measurements after much shakara of always forgetting her measuring tape and claiming to be exhausted after lectures.
I even have to appease her with moi moi and egg her favorite before she finally did it.

I quickly send my measurements to my cousin, who gave it to the tailor and everything was settled.

I traveled a day to the wedding because of school activities.
On getting home, my cousin and I continued with our plans.
We even bought snow spray to use and scatter ground 😂😂

Later at night, I decided to try my dress before ironing it.

Lo and behold, It looked like a small baby's dress with a long length.
It couldn't enter me 🤣🤣🤣

Ahhhhh Lobatan

The pepper them gang has been peppered.

Our killer dress dreams shattered 😂😂😂😂
My course mate measured rubbish.

And the tailor fa should have asked if this is truly a grown up person's measurements.
