My Battle With MAGI NECROSI For Splinterlands Weekly Challenge
Welcome to the Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge! Players will be battling using the MAGI NECROSI in this week's challenge. MAGI NECROSI is a powerful epic death monster. Players who are able to harness the power of MAGI NECROSI are in for a thrilling battle. I have some lower league and high league battles & in this post, I will share a battle in Gold League.
Battle Rules:
1. Broken Arrows: Ranged attacking monsters can't be used in this battle.
2. Earthquake: Non-Flying monster loses two health points at the end of each round.
3. Even Stevens: Only monsters with even mana cost are available for the battle.
My Team Lineup
DELWYN DRAGONSCALE
Most of the monsters in my party are magic-attacking monsters, so I used Dlewyn Dragonscale to increase their magic attack. I have also battled with death summoner, but this battle seems more interesting to me. Delwyn Dragonscale is a dragon summoner. Using this increased the magic attack of one of my monsters.
1: HARKLAW
A rule of Battle rules was Even Stevens. As a result, I could only use monsters with even mana cost. And Harklaw is a dull mana-costing monster. I put it in the first position of my lineup because of its shield ability. It also had immunity and demoralize ability. Its demoralize ability reduces the opponent's melee attack by one.
2. PHANTOM SOLDIER
The reason for placing Phantom Solider in the second position is its high health. In addition, its Silence ability reduced the magic attack of one of the opposing monsters. Its magic attack helped in the battle. It reduced health by four per round.
3. DARK ENCHANTRESS
I included Dark Enchantress in the team because of her stun ability. In addition, it has four magic attacks so that it can do a lot of damage to the opponent in each round. I used level 5 Dark Enchantress.
4. MAGI NECROSI
Magi Necrosi's snipe ability helped kill the opposing monsters in this battle. The reason for using this is because Splinterlands has given a battle challenge with this monster. It also does four damage per round.
5. FALLEN SPECTER
The reason for using this monster is its demoralize ability. I thought it would help with its demoralize ability, but it dies early in the battle. I used the Fallen Headwinds ability. However, this ability was of no use in this battle.
6. FIENDISH HARPY
It is a melee-attacking monster. Its opportunity ability is the reason for its inclusion in the team. It attacked the opponent's key monsters in battle. And it's only a two-mana-costing monster. I used a level 4 Fiendish Harpy.
You can watch the full battle on my youtube channel.
The opponent was brilliant. He placed a monster that reflected a magic attack in the first position, which killed Fallen Specter at the beginning of the battle. And my previous battle was full of magic-attacking monsters. Since the battle rules have earthquakes, I mainly included flying monsters in my team. Additionally, I used Delwyn Dragonscale to increase the magic attack of one of my party's magic-attacking monsters. The opponent and I lined up with Delwyn Dragonscale, which increased the magic attack of one of his monsters, but the Phantom Solider in my team decreased the magic attack of the opponent's monsters by one. Chaos Dragon was the most powerful monster in the opposing team, but Magi Necrosi, Dark Enchantress and Phantom Solider killed it.
In three rounds, my team's monsters killed all of the opposing team's monsters. My team's monsters were stronger than the opposing team's monsters, so the opposing team's monsters could not kill any of my team's monsters.
Yes, My strategy worked in this battle. I hope soon I can use it against some higher-level monsters. That was my battle. I hope everyone liked it. I played some other match with this monster in different strategy. Most of them worked, and some of them I lost.
