A Zebra Stripes looking Rock on Mars

Just check the video I shared above and there are many others on YouTube like that. Yes this is not a green screen edit, NASA's Perseverance rover actually found an interesting rock on Mars and it happened very recently.

They have decided to name the Rock Freya Castle for reasons I have no idea of but I'll go do my research. The Rock has black and white stripes making it look like a zebra. Well not exactly like a zebra but very close.

The Rock is about 20 centimeters wide, I think just about the size of a man's hand so not too big but still very conspicuous. Scientists believe the rock may have rolled from a higher place and they are really curious to find out more about it. What if it's a piece of a big mountain on Mars we haven't discovered yet?

The scientists claim that Freya Castle’s stripes may have formed through volcanic or heat-related processes. So that means it might not be its natural look but due to the heat.

NASA scientists hope to find and study similar rocks as the Perseverance Rover continues its journey uphill. Right now, we don’t know much about the rock, but scientists are eager to learn.

This discovery actually shows how little we know about Mars but at least, step by step we'll uncover more. Every new finding helps us understand the geology of Mars better. That's a good thing because Elon is planning on sending us there so we need to know all about it for his plan to succeed.

I Bei that in the near future, Perseverance may find more rocks like Freya Castle. Until then, this striped rock is the Mars celebrity.
