Recreating A Dead Person With AI

I never saw this coming as an innovation but to be able to take data of someone that was once alive and incorporate that into AI bot is apparently a possibility and someone did that.
The unfortunate side was that the person take the data of a dead girl without consent from the family of the deceased girl. The use of AI to recreate a person without consent to me is highly unethical and I think should either be illegal or at least companies would need to seek permission from the family before making such a move.
The girl in question is called Jennifer Ann and her family had no idea that someone had turned her into an AI chatbot. This caused them a lot of pain because it was dishonoring and disrespectful to her memory and the entire family. The family would have probably said no if they we asked. No one should have to go through that.
AI certainly has the power and capability to bring people back from the dead in a digital form but it needs to be done with care and respect. The AI Companies involved must be responsible when dealing with sensitive topics like death. When they need to do research or experiments like this, they must act quickly and communicate clearly with those affected.
I think we would need some rules to make sure this doesn't happen again.
People should not have to worry about their loved ones being used in ways they never agreed to. AI can be helpful, but it should never hurt people by reopening old wounds which is how I see this because when someone dies, the initial pain is unbearable and then they have to see an AI bot of the dead loved one which would basically remind them of the pain of losing them every single time.
I certainly wouldn't want to go through something like this. Everyone deserves respect, even after death.
Technology like AI is no different from a gun, it can be used for good like protecting yourself and it can be abused and cause harm to innocent people. We have to improve our technology with a focus on human feelings and ethics.
