Bagging Some GLX while others are in Doubt | My Investment Journey

Since I knew Genesis Soccer League had its presale announcement, I immediately jumped into the boat and joined the group of individuals who were into joining the game. Of course, presales are always great for investors who truly trust the project. When I knew the team behind GLS are Splinterlands, one of the leaders in blockchain gaming, I honestly didn't even think twice about investing plus the fact that it is football, it was an appealing project for me.

Of course, I did all of my research including tokenomics of the game, the possible gameplay, their timelines, and some of their announcements before jumping in. I was totally invested, and so I did. I purchased 110 packs, priced at $5 each, and had a 10% bonus when I purchased 100 packs.

After a couple of months' journey, I decided to increase my GLX staking investment again to take advantage of their staking benefits. It's just a couple hundred bucks though but for an average person like me, it's already a big shot. I am happy to announce that I now have 30.8k GLX staked.

One of the things that I love about this staking journey is that 1) GLX staking offers 117% APR 2) There are still 200 days remaining for staking rewards 3) The price of GLX is one of its lows at 0.036 per Hive.

On my end, I think I did the right thing. It was the money I can afford to lose and I've done some of my research to agree with that decision. It took me a couple of months to finally add around 20k of GLX stake into my bag. I had to wait for the right timing for the price and the possible game announcement. We're still around 1-2 months before the game will be released and that's exactly the reason why I invested, I know that when the game launches near and we see clearer reason to hold GLX, I think this token will get its deserved attention in the future.

Next up, I'll be sharing with you my Pack-opening journey where I opened a couple of packs. In fact, my 110 packs staked since October/November last year have always been staked, and have been receiving those juicy GLX rewards which I used to convert GLX into Hive and some were re-staked for GLX staking.

I think I had a decent journey so far in Genesis Soccer League even though the game is still not launched. If you join the Discord server, you will see a lot of like-minded people who are really bullish on the game. I've spent a good time there and once the game launches, I think we'll see more interaction on that server. :)
