Brawl Report #83, Social Media Challenge, Come Join the Fight!

This is a great game to play, when things are going your way, when they are not, you get really frustrated at it, kind of like playing Dark Souls… anyway, at least with this one you can grow your collection over time, mine has grown, not as much as it did in the past, but it is still growing in value!

I have been visiting Splinterlore to learn more about the lore of Splinterlands, here is part of the lore, want to know more, check out the Story of Noa the Just

The history behind Noa by Splinterlands:
Noa the Just hails from Torrent, a village of sea nagas that dwells in the waters off the northeastern shore of Praetoria. He spent much of his childhood working on his father’s kelp farm alongside his siblings, harvesting crops, picking rocks from the seashore and seabed, and assisting with tasks of manual labor around the farm.

Even at a young age, he was formidably well-muscled and strong, yet shy and quiet. Some of his more antagonistic peers mistook his shyness for weakness and tried to bully him. But after a couple brawls that left them with blackened eyes, squashed noses, and even a few broken bones (while Noa suffered nothing more than bruised and bloodied knuckles), they turned their attention to weaker targets. However, Noa could not abide seeing others suffer, and he took to protecting those who could not protect themselves.

His skill with his fists, as well as his passion for justice, drew notice from the warriors of the tribe. They invited the young sea naga to train with them. Before long, he was the one doing the training. When he reached adulthood, his mother and father encouraged him to join the militia, knowing he would best serve the tribe in its defense rather than toiling on the family farm.

Noa continued to fight with his fists, and his powerful muscles and lightning-fast reflexes proved more than a match for the sharp edge of a blade or the blunt face of a club. He defended the tribe time and again against its enemies.

Eventually, he attained the rank of captain, head of the militia. Later still, after leading the defense against the invading Chaos Legion forces and a counterattack that left none of the interloper’s ships afloat, Noa the Just was unanimously voted tribal chieftain of Torrent.

On to the battle, the guild as a whole filled 14 out of 16 frays for this one, need just a few more! This one is in Silver Chaos Legion only format fight with 6 fights that have my name.

Battle #1 (Link)
This one starts in the home arena with 18 mana, no melee and close range. I went light on this one to hopefully get that boost to my ranged attack, but also to have double heals up front, I hope the timing works out. They went death on this one. A miss is what allowed me to win this one, other than that I would have lost!

Battle #2 (Link)
This one is all the road looking at 12 mana, no special rules, but only water and fire is allowed. I’m going fire on this one, looking for a shield up front along with some sneak damage. They went water, that extra shield could cause some problems. And it did cause some problems, did not win this fight.

Battle #3 (Link)
Back in the home arena, hopefully working on the good side of things, more mana at 32, melee can attack from anywhere, poison along with fog of war. I’m going water on this one, I don’t know how well it will workout for me though. They went light, which could cause some problems for me. The bloodlust just beat me up on this one.

Battle #4 (Link)
Half of the brawl is done for me, and I have a losing record, not good. We start this part on the road with no legendary monsters and 28 mana, and only water and dragon allowed, going water, makes it easy. They went dragon, hoping to slow me down a little bit. I thought the misses were going to derail me on this one, but I made it through!

Battle #5
The last fight in the home arena for this brawl with 45 mana, super sneak, divine shield and stampede. I don’t know how well this will work, but I am going earth with 3 monsters who have double attacks, hopefully it will workout for me. I was looking forward to seeing this fight, but they fled.

Battle #6
The last fight of the brawl for me, in the enemy arena, snipe with 30 mana. Going water with some taunt in there while hitting with double opportunity. They fled for me on this one as well.

Just under 2 hours to go on this one and I am sitting at 2 and 2, not bad, but not great. The guild is in third place, just by one, tight race for 2 through 4.

This was a good one for me, I ended up 4 and 2! Lot’s of forfeits from other teams, but we ended in 3rd, a good day!
