Gunther And Cody Promo On Raw This Week

Before I watched this promo I thought Cody will win at Crown Jewel by beating Cody Rhodes but now I'm certain Cody will win because he's got a chip on his shoulder and something to prove.

I'm not saying Gunther doesn't have anything to lose but Cody really has to prove that he's truly the best.

Gunther has referred to Cody Rhodes as a secondary champion and that by inference means that the best champion in WWE right is Gunther and that's just Gunther's opinion.

The match at Crown Jewel is no longer about a new belt going to someone but a match to determine who's the absolute best in the sport of Wrestling.

When Gunther referred to Cody as a secondary champion Cody Rhodes responded by reminding Gunther that he defeated the most dominant champion in WWE history and that's Roman Reigns.

Gunther sees himself a Beast and Cody reminded Gunther that he's already beatem a Beast and that's Brock Lesnar.

Cody Rhodes has proven to be the best but he has defeated Gunther before and both of these champions haven't had a match before. The only time they met in the ring and fought was last year's Royal Rumble match. They were the two left in the ring and Cody won by eliminating Gunther.

I'm predicting Cody Rhodes will win this one. However Cody Rhodes understands and acknowledges the pain that Gunther can dish out to his opponents. It's not going to be an easy match and it might even end up bloody like some of Gunther's matches at NXT.

Also Cody Rhodes knows Gunther has a limit and can break just like he did at WrestleMania this year when he lost to Sami Zayn.

But regardless I'm not going to bet against Gunther too. Maybe he'll lose but it won't be an easy match for Cody Rhodes at all.
