My Game Activity and Progress on Soulkeep: First game goal achieved!
Soulkeep is a Tower Defense game playable directly from the Splinterlands site and is currently the only game of the Tower Defense type playable on Hive.
I started playing on Soulkeep since the first days of its release (June 25, 2024) but my investment on Soulkeep started long before because I purchased 167 Nightmare packs during the first day of the presale (September 20, 2022).
To purchase 167 Nightmare packs I spent 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS which were worth 662$ at the time of my purchase.
Today 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS have a lower value: $530.86 + $2.80 = 533.66
To date, I have opened 122 NIHGTMARE packs and still have 45 NIGHTMARE packs to open to which was recently added another NIGHTMARE pack that I received as a reward by playing Soulkeep for a total of 46 NIGHTMARE packs.
For the moment, I am not planning to open these packs yet because I already have the cards I use the most in play at the maximum usable level in league 2 tournaments.
In fact, each league on Soulkeep has a cap relative to the level of Tower, Spells and Hero cards usable in play.
I still can't advance in league 3 because I haven't yet reached the requirement in Fiend Souls to be eliminated in game to enter the next league.
I still need to eliminate 4 legendary Fiend Souls to advance to the next league.
The towers I have used the most so far in the game are:
- TARANTULA LOOM
- CHARNEL PIT
- JACK'S JOKE
- QUAD KILLER
- KNIFE TOSSER
The main game mode on Soulkeep is Tournaments and game rewards are distributed through a daily ranking that rewards the top 50%.
In the screenshot below you can see the rewards that the top 8 players received in the tournament leaderboard on August 29, 2024.
The first ranked player in league 2 won 739.85 SPS whose current value is 28.83 HIVE = $5.10.
I finished sixteenth and received 19.55 SPS.
The last position awarded was position number 48 and the award was 3,198 SPS.
In my previous post on Soulkeep, I had set as a short-term game goal to finish at least once in the top 20 of league 2.
I have achieved this goal in the past few days but now I will try to achieve a new goal that will be more difficult to achieve but for that reason also fun: to reach the top 10 at least once.
Until now I have not always been constant and regular in my gaming activity because I have often had little free time on my hands but from now on I will try to play more frequently.
Soulkeep is a game I enjoy and I generally play a game before I go to sleep.
So far I have played almost all tournaments using the daily free ticket and thus without paying tickets.
In the last two tournaments I have played I have purchased additional tickets to try to improve my score, and thanks to my purchases I have finished in the top 20 of the leaderboard once out of two tournaments played.
I will continue to follow this strategy that has been profitable even though I have only played two tournaments and I need to see if it will be profitable in the future.
I am keeping track of the rewards I get and so far through my playing activity I have received:
- 199 SPS
- 1 NIGHTMARE pack
- 1 Potion
I also spent a total of 48 DEC to buy tournament tickets.
My game balance is positive even though it has a relatively low value: +12.64 SWAP.HIVE = +2.23$.
In the next few days, in addition to playing more, I will also try to better study the statistics of the cards I have in my collection and especially the characteristics of the Fiends in order to adapt my towers and spells to the enemies to be eliminated in the game.
The last time I published a post on Soulkeep was July 23, 2024, and I will conclude this post by showing the changes in HIVE and dollar value that the SPS token has had in the time interval July 23, 2024 - August 31, 2024.

Soulkeep è un Tower Defense game giocabile direttamente dal sito di Splinterlands e al momento è l'unico gioco della tipologia Tower Defense giocabile su Hive.
Ho iniziato a giocare su Soulkeep fin dai primi giorni del suo rilascio (25 giugno 2024) ma il mio investimento su Soulkeep è iniziato molto tempo prima perchè ho acquistato 167 Nightmare packs durante il primo giorno della presale (20 settembre 2022).
Per acquistare 167 Nightmare packs ho speso 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS che al momento del mio acquisto valevano 662$.
Oggi 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS hanno un valore più basso: 530.86$ + 2.80$ = 533.66$
Fino ad oggi ho aperto 122 NIHGTMARE packs e ho ancora 45 NIGHTMARE packs da aprire a cui di recente si è aggiunto un altro NIGHTMARE pack che ho ricevuto come ricompensa giocando a Soulkeep per un totale di 46 NIGHTMARE packs.
Per il momento non ho ancora intenzione di aprire questi pacchi perchè ho già le carte che uso di più in gioco al massimo livello utilizzabile nei tornei della league 2.
Infatti ogni lega su Soulkeep ha un cap relativo al livello delle carte Tower, Spells e Hero utilizzabile in gioco.
Non posso ancora avanzare nella league 3 perchè non ho ancora raggiunto il requisito in Fiend Souls da eliminare in gioco per accedere alla lega successiva.
Devo eliminare ancora 4 Fiend Souls leggendari per avanzare nella lega successiva.
Le torri che ho utilizzato di più fino ad ora in gioco sono:

- CHARNEL PIT
- JACK'S JOKE
- QUAD KILLER
- KNIFE TOSSER
La modalità principale di gioco su Soulkeep è la modalità Tournaments e le ricompense di gioco sono distribuite tramite una classifica giornaliera che premia il top 50%.
Nello screenshot seguente puoi vedere le ricompense che hanno ricevuto i primi 8 giocatori nella classifica del torneo del 29 agosto 2024.
Il primo classificato nella league 2 ha vinto 739.85 SPS il cui valore attuale è di 28.83 HIVE = 5.10$.
Io sono arrivato sedicesimo e ho ricevuto 19.55 SPS.
L'ultima posizione premiata è stata la posizione numero 48 e il premio è stato di 3.198 SPS.
Nel mio precedente post su Soulkeep avevo fissato come obiettivo di gioco di breve termine di arrivare almeno una volta nella top 20 della classifica della league 2.
Ho raggiunto questo obiettivo nei giorni scorsi ma adesso proverò a raggiungere un nuovo obiettivo che sarà più difficile da raggiungere ma per questo motivo anche divertete: arrivare almeno una volta nella top 10.
Fino ad oggi non sono stato sempre costante e regolare nella mia attività di gioco perchè ho avuto spesso poco tempo libero a disposizione ma da oggi in poi cercherò di giocare con più frequenza.
Soulkeep è un gioco che mi piace e generalmente gioco una partita prima di andare a dormire.
Fino ad oggi ho giocato quasi tutti i tornei utilizzando il free ticket giornaliero e quindi senza pagare ticket.
Negli ultimi due tornei che ho giocato ho acquistato dei ticket aggiuntivi per cercare di migliorare il mio punteggio e grazie a questi miei acquisti sono arrivato nella top 20 della classifica una volta su due tornei giocati.
Continuerò a seguire questa strategia che è stata profittevole anche se ho giocato solo due tornei e devo verificare se lo sarà anche in futuro.
Sto tenendo traccia delle ricompense che ottengo e fino ad oggi grazie alla mia attività di gioco ho ricevuto:

That's a decent reward for the person who finished first. Finishing 17th out of 50 isn't completely bad, I think the rewards are sort of better for the people placed in top 3
