My Game Activity and Progress on Splinterlands + My Card Collection Optimization: Sell and Buy
On Splinterlands the current season is going very well for me because I have achieved the first season goal that I set at the beginning of the season: to at least arrive in Modern Format's Gold I league.
In fact, when there are about 13 days and 13 hours left until the end of the season, I am in the Gold I league with a rating = 2660.
I have yet to reach my second goal of the season: accumulate at least 100K GLINT.
Adding up the liquid GLINTs I have in my in-game wallet and the GLINTs I will receive as end-of-season rewards, I have accumulated almost 65K GLINTs and if I can get the time to use all the energy points available to me before the end of the season, I may even surpass my goal related to GLINT tokens although my seasonal win rate will be important here.
Regarding my partial win rate in the current season, I have played 180 battles winning 87 of them and my win rate is equal to 48.33%
To improve my win rate and remain competitive at least in Gold leagues I continue to optimize the battle strength of my card collection:
- selling the cards I do not use in battle
- buying and leveling up cards that I consider useful in battle
On Splinterlands I have always focused more on cards than other assets because I enjoy playing the game and I am primarily a player than an investor.
Unfortunately, my desire to buy new cards and increase the level of my cards has diminished over time because the presence of bots in the Wild Format and the Wild Pass are a strong disincentive for me to invest in buying cards because every time an edition's cards come out of the Modern Format they will lose usefulness for me (I don't want to play against bots) and they will also lose their market value.
I don't want to be repetitive because I have covered this topic in many of my previous posts but I don't understand how it is possible not to see how counterproductive the rotation mechanism is because of the presence of bots in the Wild Format...
It's been a long time since I have used my external liquidity to buy Splinterlands cards and it's because I don't like the combination of rotation mechanism - bots in the wild and I will resume investing more on cards only when and if bots are completely eliminated from Splinterlands but I don't think it can happen in the short term because eliminating bots is not a priority for the Splinterlands team and also for some big SPS stakeholders.
For all these reasons I have to choose cards to buy or upgrade very carefully and I also have to sell cards that I don't use in battle or that I use very rarely.
The cards I decided to sell today are two legendary summoner type cards:
- Risqruel Drath
- Eternal Tofu
Risqruel Drath and especially Eternal Tofu are cards that I really like but not at level 1 because I have 98 maximum level cards that I can use in Modern Format and with these two level 1 summoners, I would not be able to use the maximum level game stats of my monster type cards.
For me, it is better to sell these two cards that I never use in battle to buy other cards that will be much more useful to me in battle.
I put Eternal Tofu and Risqruel Drath up for sale at the lowest price per single BCX on the market, and I used Peakmonsters to carry out the put-up-for-sale operation faster than using the Items section of Splinterlands.
If I can sell these two cards I will have about $50 in DEC tokens to reinvest in the purchase of other cards.
As for my purchase/upgrade goals I have almost completed upgrading to the maximum level of Weirding Warrior.
A month ago I created a purchase bid via the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters and as you can see in the screenshot below I am only 1 BCX of Weirding Warrior away from completing this upgrade goal of mine.
I also have two active Bid purchase offers to purchase 5 BCX of Agor Longtail and 5 BCX of Oshuur Constantia which are two cards I use a lot in battle.
If I sell the two legendary cards I put up for sale today I will raise the value of my bidding otherwise not.
Today I created more Bid purchase offers to upgrade to the maximum level some Chaos Legion cards that I use in battle and that have relatively low upgrade costs.
I decided to purchase 53 BCX of the Stitch Leech card because the cost per BCX is low and spending 0.009 per BCX ($0.477 total) to add one life point to my level 9 Stitch Leech seems like an affordable upgrade.
A similar reasoning I did for Xenith Archer: level 6 -> level 8.
I have level 6 Xenith Archer and trying to buy another 55 BCX to upgrade to the maximum level (+1 speed point and +1 life point) will cost me a total of $0.825 if my purchase offer is accepted.
My last upgrade goal is Nerissa Tridawn: level 4 -> level 6
There are very few cards that can be used in Modern Format that have magic attack = 5 and to upgrade to the maximum level of Nerissa Tridawn will cost me $3,172 if my purchase offer is accepted.
I will end this post by sharing two battles in which I used 3 of the 5 cards that are my current upgrade targets.
Below you can see a recent battle of mine in which I used Agor Longtail in the first position and Oshur Costantia in the fourth position.
If I can complete my upgrade goals Agor Longtail and Oshur Constantia will have an extra magic attack point and will be even more useful in battle allowing me to win a few more battles.
I will now show you a battle I lost that I could have won if I had Agor Longtail and Oshur Costantia at maximum level.
In this battle I lose Agor Longtail during round 2 and before the elimination of Diemonshark.
If I had one more magic point I would have eliminated Diemonshark during round 1 and also could have won this battle instead of losing it.

La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi in Splinterlands
Su Splinterlands la stagione in corso sta procedendo molto bene per me perchè ho raggiunto il primo obiettivo stagionale che mi ero posto all'inizio della stagione: arrivare almeno in lega Gold I del Modern Format.
Infatti, quando mancano circa 13 giorni e 13 ore alla fine della stagione, sono in lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating = 2660.
Devo ancora raggiungere il mio secondo obiettivo stagionale: accumulare almeno 100K GLINT.
Sommando i GLINT liquidi che ho nel mio in-game wallet e i GLINT che riceverò come ricompensa di fine stagione ho accumulato quasi 65K GLINT e se riuscirò ad avere il tempo di utilizzare tutti i punti energia a mia disposizione prima della fine della stagione potrei anche superare il mio obiettivo relativo ai token GLINT anche se in questo caso sarà importante il mio win rate stagionale.
Per quanto riguarda il mio win rate parziale nella stagione in corso, ho giocato 180 battaglie vincendone 87 e il mio win rate è uguale al 48.33%
Per migliorare il mio win rate e rimanere competitivo almeno nelle leghe Gold continuo ad ottimizzare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte:
- vendendo le carte che non uso in battaglia
- acquistando e aumentando il livello delle carte che considero utili in battaglia
Su Splinterlands mi sono sempre focalizzato più sulle carte che sugli altri assets perchè mi piace giocare e sono principalmente un giocatore che un investitore.
Purtroppo il mio desiderio di acquistare nuove carte e aumentare il livello delle mie carte è diminuito nel tempo perchè la presenza dei bots nel Wild Format e il Wild Pass sono un forte disincentivo per me ad investire nell'acquisto delle carte perchè ogni volta che le carte di un edizione usciranno dal Modern Format perderanno utilità per me (non voglio giocare contro i bots) e perderanno anche il loro valore di mercato.
Non voglio essere ripetitivo perchè ho trattato questo argomento in molti miei precedenti post ma non capisco come sia possibile non vedere quanto è contro-producente il meccanismo di rotazione a causa della presenza dei bots nel Wild Format...
E' molto tempo che non utilizzo la mia liquidità esterna per acquistare le carte di Splinterlands ed è perchè non mi piace la combinazione meccanismo di rotazione - bots nel wild e riprenderò ad investire maggiormente sulle carte solo quando e se i bots saranno completamente eliminati da Splinterlands ma non credo possa avvenire nel breve periodo perchè eliminare i bots non è una priorità per il team di Splinterlands e anche per alcuni grossi SPS stakeholders.
Per tutti questi motivi devo scegliere le carte da acquistare o da upgradare con molta attenzione e devo anche vendere le carte che non uso in battaglia o che uso molto raramente.
Le carte che ho deciso di vendere oggi sono due carte leggendarie di tipo evocatore:
- Risqruel Drath
- Eternal Tofu
Risqruel Drath e soprattutto Eternal Tofu sono carte che mi piacciono molto ma non al livello 1 perchè ho 98 carte di massimo livello che posso utilizzare nel Modern Format e con questi due evocatori di livello 1 non potrei utilizzare le statistiche di gioco di massimo livello delle mie carte di tipo mostro.
Per me è meglio vendere queste due carte che non utilizzo mai in battaglia per acquistare altre carte che mi potranno essere molto più utili in battaglia.
Ho messo in vendita Eternal Tofu e Risqruel Drath al prezzo per singolo BCX più basso sul mercato e ho utilizzato Peakmonsters per effettuare l'operazione di messa in vendita in modo più veloce rispetto all'utilizzo della sezione Items di Splinterlands.
Se riuscirò a vendere queste due carte avrò circa 50$ in token DEC da reinvestire nell'acquisto di altre carte.
Per quanto riguarda i miei obiettivi di acquisto/upgrade ho quasi completato l'upgrade al livello massimo di Weirding Warrior.
Un mese fa ho creato un'offerta di acquisto tramite la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters e come puoi vedere nello screenshot seguente mi manca solo 1 BCX di Weirding Warrior per completare questo mio obiettivo di upgrade.
Ho anche due offerte di acquisto Bid attive per acquistare 5 BCX di Agor Longtail e 5 BCX di Oshuur Constantia che sono due carte che uso molto in battaglia.
Se venderò le due carte leggendarie che ho messo in vendita oggi alzerò il valore delle mie offerte di acquisto altrimenti no.
Oggi ho creato altre offerte di acquisto Bid per fare l'upgrade al massimo livello di alcune carte Chaos Legion che uso in battaglia e che hanno costi di upgrade relativamente bassi.
Ho deciso di acquistare 53 BCX della carta Stitch Leech perchè il costo per BCX è basso e spendere 0.009 per BCX (0.477$ in totale) per aggiungere un punto vita alla mia Stitch Leech di livello 9 mi sembra un upgrade conveniente.
Un ragionamento analogo l'ho fatto per Xenith Archer: level 6 -> level 8.
Ho Xenith Archer di livello 6 e provare ad acquistare altri 55 BCX per fare l'upgrade al livello massimo (+1 punto velocità e +1 punto vita) mi costerà in totale 0.825$ se la mia offerta di acquisto sarà accettata.
L'ultimo mio obiettivo di upgrade è Nerissa Tridawn: level 4 -> level 6
Sono davvero poche le carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format che hanno un attacco magico = 5 e fare l'upgrade al livello massimo di Nerissa Tridawn mi costerà 3.172$ se la mia offerta di acquisto sarà accettata.
Concludo questo post condividendo due battaglie in cui ho utilizzato 3 delle 5 carte che sono i miei obiettivi di upgrade attuali.
Di seguito puoi vedere una mia recente battaglia in cui ho utilizzato Agor Longtail in prima posizione e Oshur Costantia in quarta posizione.
Se riuscirò a completare i miei obiettivi di upgrade Agor Longtail e Oshur Costantia avranno un punto di attacco magico in più e saranno ancora più utili in battaglia permettendomi di vincere alcune battagli in più.
Adesso ti mostro una battaglia che ho perso e che avrei potuto vincere se avevo Agor Longtail e Oshur Costantia di livello massimo.
In questa battaglia perdo Agor Longtail durante il round 2 e prima dell'eliminazione di Diemonshark.
Se avessi avuto un solo punto magico in più avrei eliminato Diemonshark durante il round 1 e avrei anche potuto vincere questa battaglia invece di perderla.

It's a actually good to sell cards you don't use, since there's no prospect of upgrading them anytime soon though. It's definitely going to cost a lot to get them to level 4.
48% win rate is decent, it's only getting harder to actually Play everyday.

Agor and Oshur have really shot up in price, really became very meta. At lvl1 not so much use sadly, lvl3 at least you need I think.
Yes I agree with your evaluation, they are two versatile and useful cards even in Gold+ leagues but only starting from level 3

I think they've added a lot of skills to this ETERNAL TOFU. So that it's confusing to use, like choosing between Triage and Scavenger against Immunity and Corrupted.
I think its fine to sell cards that you don't use. I have seen one eternal tofu in my entire time so far fighting but I haven't fought that much. I don't think it's a highly used card.
