September will not be just ordinary month for Splinterlands players especially for passionate players like me because there will be two important events:

• the Riftwatchers presale
• the presale of the new Splinterlands Tower Defense game.

In today's post, I want to provide some information about the two upcoming Presales and I will also begin to make some financial evaluations, which I will take up in more detail and depth when the two Presales are close to beginning.

Riftwatchers Presale

The Riftwatchers Presale will begin on September 15, 2022 (2:00 PM ET / 18:00 UTC) date and time when Rift Gems Packs will be available for purchase.

The cards findable in the Rift Gems Packs will total 43:

• 13 common cards
• 12 rare cards
• 6 epic cards (Summoners).
• 12 legendary cards (including 5 airdrops).

I have summarized in table form the main information regarding the sale of Rift Gems packs (see image below).

There will be no time separation between presale and general sale because only the first 500000 Rift Gems packs will be considered presale packs.

The advantage of participating in the presale will be the chance to receive the limited edition promo card Oshuur Constantia.
Oshuur Constantia is a legendary card of the Dragon element that at maximum level gets the following game stats:

• Mana Cost: 7
• Magic Attack: 3
• Life Points: 6
• Abilities: Tank Heal, Resurrect, Reflection Shield

The probabilities of receiving an Oshuur Constantia card will be as follows:

• 2% for each pack purchased during presale (up to 500k packs sold).
• 4% that the Oshuur Constantia card is Gold Foil.

Every 50 packs purchased will give a guarantee to receive 1 promo card.
For example, those who purchase 200 packs of cards during the presale will be guaranteed to receive 4 Oshuur Constantia cards and each card received will have a 4% chance of being Gold.

With a purchase of 1000 packs you will be guaranteed to receive one gold foil promo Oshuur Constantia and receive the in-game title "The Watcher".

The special aspect of the sale of Rift Gems packs is that they will only be purchasable using SPS tokens and also to purchase each pack (both bonus and non-bonus) it will be necessary to always use a VOUCHER token.

In addition, a great positive aspect is that all SPSs obtained from the sale of Rift Gems packs will be sent to the SPS DAO and will be used to benefit SPS stakeholders and not directly Splinterlands.
How to use this SPS tokens will be decided by the SPS stakeholders themselves through voting on a future proposal.

Each pack of Rift Gems cards will have a fixed cost of $5 + 1 VOUCHER token but the effective dollar cost will depend on the value that 1 VOUCHER token will have when the presale begins (Sept. 15, 2022).

Today September 8, 2022 a SPS token has the value of 0.1207 SWAP.HIVE = $0.64 while a VOUCHER token is worth 1.8499 SWAP.HIVE = $0.975.

If by hypothesis during the presale the values of SPS tokens and VOUCHER tokens will be the same as they are today a pack of Rift Gems cards will have an effective cost of $5.97.

Although in most probability this cost should increase as the presale opening approaches...

Tower Defense Presale and Set

The Riftwatchers event will be a important event but the most awaited event is the Presale of the new Tower Defense game (SPLTD) which will lead to an expansion of the Splinterlands ecosystem and will also provide additional use cases to the Splinterlands cards and the SPS, VOUCHER and DEC tokens.

In the image below you can see a concept art of the game published by Splinterlands in one of its recent posts.

Personally, I really like Tower Defense games because they are fun and relatively easy to play even though in order to be among the best players it is necessary to make optimal game choices and strategies.
Initially the Tower Defense game of Splinterlands will be a PvE game and will not be a PvP game like Splinterlands but if the game will be successful multiplayer modes will be implemented as well.

As with the Riftwatchers set, I have summarized in table form the main information regarding the presale and release of the Splinterlands Tower Defense set.

The presale of Tower Defense packs will begin on September 20 but the release of the game with the concomitant possibility of opening card packs will take place between the end of this year and the beginning of next year as also indicated in the Road Map of the project (see image below).

SPLTD packs may be purchased using:

• one purchase mode during the Presale: 5000 DEC tokens + 1 VOUCHER per parcel.
• two purchase modes during the General Sale:
• Credits: 8000
• DEC tokens:
  • option 1: 8000 DEC
  • option 2: 5000 DEC + 1 VOUCHER

The advantage of participating in the presale is mainly the probability of 0.2% to receive a Promo Hero card for each pack purchased.

Those who purchase 500 packs during the presale will have the following benefits:

• 1 guaranteed Promo Hero card
• 1 Limited Edition Title
• 1 Limited Edition Avatar
• Access to the Closed Beta phase.

During the general sale 1750000 packs will be offered for sale and 4 airdrops will be available, which will occur after the following quantities of SPLTD packs have been sold:

• 250,000 packs - Promo Hero
• 750,000 packs - Tower
• 1,250,000 packs - Spell
• 1,750,000 packs - Tower

The minimum amount of packs to be purchased to be guaranteed to receive 1 NFT for each airdrop will increase according to the following progression:

• First Airdrop: 500 packs purchased
• Second Airdrop: 550 packs purchased
• Third Airdrop: 600 packs purchased
• Fourth Airdrop: 650 packs purchased

Today, September 8, 2022, a DEC token has the value of 0.1285 SWAP.HIVE = $0.000677 while a VOUCHER token is worth 1.8499 SWAP.HIVE = $0.975.

If by hypothesis the values of SPS tokens and VOUCHER tokens will be the same as they are now even during the presale, a pack of SPLTD cards will have an effective cost in dollars lower than the fixed price: $5.97.

Although again, and most likely, the effective cost should increase as the presale opening approaches...

Considerations on VOUCHER tokens

The sale of Rift Gems packs and the sale of SPLTD packs will have different methods of purchase but will also have one element in common: the use of VOUCHER tokens.

To purchase a Rift Gems pack, it will be indispensable to have and use 1 VOUCHER token for each pack to be purchased during both the Presale and General Sale.
To purchase an SPLTD pack during the presale it will be necessary to have and use 1 VOUCHER token for each pack to be purchased.
To purchase an SPLTD pack during the general sale it will not be indispensable to have and use 1 VOUCHER token for each pack to be purchased but it may be very convenient to use if the value of 1 VOUCHER will be less than $3.

Thanks to the sale of the Riftwachers Set and the sale of the SPLTD packs the DEC, SPS and especially the VOUCHER tokens will acquire new use cases and thus new utilities and, in all probability could increase in value.

In particular the value of VOUCHER tokens is increasing incrementally as time goes on and I think it will continue to do so as pre-sales get closer to their start (personal opinion and forecast and not financial advice).

In a 10-day time interval (August 29, 2022 - September 8, 2022), the value of the VOUCHER token increased by +140.28%.

Yesterday, September 7, I decided to buy 300 VOUCHER tokens at the price of 1.60 SWAP.HIVE per VOUCHER token and spent a total of 480 SWAP.HIVE.

I would have done well to have purchased them earlier but as often happens and already for some time work commitments in real life often keep me "captive" taking away precious time to do the activities I enjoy but although late, I have already made a good profit from my purchase transaction.

I already had VOUCHER tokens obtained from my SPS token staking activity and thanks to my latest purchase, I reached a total amount of 469,566 VOUCHER tokens.

I have 41896 SPS tokens in staking which should allow me to reach an amount of 500 VOUCHER before the presale of the Tower Defense game begins.

With 500 VOUCHERs on hand I will have the opportunity and peace of mind to choose whether to participate in the Riftwachers presale and the Tower Defense presale without having to worry about buying more VOUCHER tokens.

Final Considerations

Participating or not in the Riftwatchers presale and/or the Tower Defense presale will be a subjective decision for each Splinterlands player/investor to make based on their personal predictions.

Those who read my Hive blog regularly will certainly remember that I did not participate in the Chaos Legion presale because I had rated the value of the VOUCHER tokens too high.
For that reason during the Chaos Legion presale I sold all the VOUCHER tokens and then used the proceeds to purchase nearly 800 Chaos Legion packs during the general sale.

That choice proved with time to be right but now it is necessary to make other evaluations and forecasts that I have not yet made but will share in my next posts (real life work commitments permitting ;)

Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain-based game and Hive is my favorite blockchain project and for that reason I plan to participate in both the Riftwatchers and Tower Defense events and therefore I will enter and invest 100% in both sales but I don't know yet if I will do so during the presale or if I will do so during the general sale.
My final decision will depend on the size of the FOMO effect which will determine the future value that VOUCHER tokens in particular will have when their use is concretely needed and then shortly before the presales start ;)

In conclusion I want to share all my happiness to see the Splinterlands ecosystem expanding.
The birth of a new game and a new project is always a positive factor for all Splinterlands players but also for the whole Hive ecosystem.
If the Splinterlands Tower Defense game will be successful it will also benefit Hive's blockchain because Hive's blockchain, with all its utilities and peculiarities, adds value to every project built on it and at the same time every project developed on Hive's blockchain adds value to Hive and its ecosystem.

• la presale Riftwatchers
• la presale del nuovo gioco Splinterlands Tower Defense

Nel post di oggi voglio fornire alcune informazioni sulle due prossime Prevendite e inizierò anche a fare alcune valutazioni di carattere finanziario che riprenderò in modo più dettagliato e approfondito quando le due prevendite saranno prossime all'inizio.

Riftwatchers Presale

La Riftwatchers Presale inizierà il 15 settembre 2022 (2:00 PM ET / 18:00 UTC) data e orario in cui sarà possibile acquistare i Rift Gems Packs.

Le carte trovabili nei Rift Gems Packs saranno in totale 43:

La particolarità della vendita dei pacchi Rift Gems è che saranno acquistabili unicamente utilizzando i token SPS e inoltre per acquistare ogni pacco (sia bonus che non bonus) sarà necessario utilizzare sempre un token VOUCHER.

Inoltre un grande aspetto positivo è che tutti gli SPS ottenuti dalla vendita dei pacchi Rift Gems saranno inviati al SPS DAO e quindi verranno utilizzati per portare benefici agli SPS stakeholders e non direttamente a Splinterlands.
Come utilizzare i token SPS sarà deciso dagli stessi SPS stakeholders tramite il voto su una futura proposta.

Ogni pacco di carte Rift Gems avrà un costo fissato di 5$ + 1 token VOUCHER ma il costo effettivo in dollari dipenderà dal valore che avrà 1 token VOUCHER quando la presale inizierà (15 settembre 2022).

Tower Defense Presale e Set

L'evento Riftwatchers sarà un evento importante ma l'evento più atteso è la Presale del nuovo gioco Tower Defense (SPLTD) che porterà ad una vera e propria espansione dell'ecosistema di Splinterlands e fornirà anche ulteriori casi d'uso alle carte di Splinterlands e ai token SPS, VOUCHER e DEC.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere una concept art del gioco pubblicata da Splinterlands in un suo recente post.

Personalmente mi piacciono molto i giochi Tower Defense perchè sono divertenti e abbastanza semplici da giocare anche se per essere tra i migliori giocatori bisogna adottare scelte e strategie di gioco ottimali.
Inizialmente il gioco Tower Defense di Splinterlands sarà un gioco PvE e non sarà un gioco PvP come Splinterlands ma se il gioco avrà successo saranno implementate anche le modalità multiplayer.

Come per il set Riftwatchers ho sintetizzato in forma tabellare le informazioni principali relative alla prevendita e al rilascio del Set Splinterlands Tower Defense.

La presale dei pacchi Tower Defense inizierà il 20 settembre ma il rilascio del gioco con la contestuale possibilità di apertura dei pacchi di carte avverrà tra la fine dell'anno in corso e l'inizio dell'anno prossimo come indicato anche nella Road Map del progetto (vedi immagine seguente).

I pacchi SPLTD potranno essere acquistati utilizzando:

• una sola modalità di acquisto durante la Presale: 5000 token DEC + 1 VOUCHER per ogni pacco.
• due modalità di acquisto durante la General Sale:
• Crediti: 8000
• token DEC:
  • opzione 1: 8000 DEC
  • opzione 2: 5000 DEC + 1 VOUCHER

Considerazioni sui token VOUCHER

La vendita dei pacchi Rift Gems e la vendita dei pacchi SPLTD avranno metodi di acquisto differenti ma avranno anche un elemento in comune: l'utilizzo dei token VOUCHER.

Per acquistare un pacco Rift Gems sarà indispensabile avere e utilizzare 1 token VOUCHER per ogni pacco da acquistare sia durante la Presale che durante la General Sale.
Per acquistare un pacco SPLTD durante la presale sarà indispensabile avere e utilizzare 1 token VOUCHER per ogni pacco da acquistare.
Per acquistare un pacco SPLTD durante la general sale non sarà indispensabile avere e utilizzare 1 token VOUCHER per ogni pacco da acquistare ma potrebbe essere molto conveniente utilizzarlo se il valore di 1 VOUCHER sarà inferiore a 3$.

Grazie alla vendita dell'espansione Riftwachers e alla vendita dei pacchi SPLTD i token DEC, SPS e soprattutto i token VOUCHER acquisteranno nuovi casi d'uso e quindi nuove utilità e, con molta probabilità potrebbe aumentare il loro valore.

In particolare il valore dei token VOUCHER sta aumentando in modo progressivo con il passare del tempo e io penso che continuerà a farlo man mano che le prevendite si avvicineranno al loro inizio (opinione e previsione personale e non è un consiglio finanziario).

In un intervallo di tempo di 10 giorni (29 agosto 2022 - 8 settembre 2022) il valore del token VOUCHER è cresciuto del +140.28%.

Ieri 7 settembre ho deciso di acquistare 300 token VOUCHER al prezzo di 1.60 SWAP.HIVE per token VOUCHER e ho speso in totale 480 SWAP.HIVE.

Avrei fatto bene ad acquistarli prima ma come spesso succede e già da tempo gli impegni lavorativi della real life mi tengono spesso "prigioniero" sottraendomi del tempo prezioso per fare le attività che mi piacciono ma anche se in ritardo, ho già ottenuto un buon profitto dalla mia operazione di acquisto.

Avevo già dei token VOUCHER ottenuti dalla mia attività di staking dei token SPS e grazie al mio ultimo acquisto ho raggiunto un quantitativo totale di 469.566 token VOUCHER.

Ho 41896 token SPS in staking che mi dovrebbero permettere di raggiungere un quantitativo di 500 VOUCHER prima dell'inizio della presale del gioco Tower Defense.

Con 500 VOUCHER a disposizione avrò la possibilità e la tranquillità di scegliere se partecipare alla presale Riftwachers e alla presale Tower Defense senza dovermi preoccupare di acquistare altri token VOUCHER.

Considerazioni Finali

Partecipare o meno alla presale Riftwatchers e/o alla presale Tower Defense sarà una decisione soggettiva che ogni giocatore/investitore di Splinterlands dovrà prendere in base alle proprie previsioni personali.

Chi legge il mio Hive blog regolarmente si ricorderà certamente che non ho partecipato alla presale Chaos Legion perchè avevo valutato il valore dei token VOUCHER troppo alto.
Per questo motivo durante la presale Chaos Legion ho venduto tutti i token VOUCHER per poi utilizzare il ricavato per acquistare quasi 800 pacchi Chaos Legion durante la general sale.

Quella scelta si è rivelata con il tempo giusta ma adesso è necessario fare altre valutazioni e previsioni che non ho ancora fatto ma che condividerò nei miei prossimi post (impegni lavorativi real life permettendo ;)

Splinterlands è il mio gioco basato su blockchain preferito e Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e per questo motivo ho intenzione di partecipare ad entrambi gli eventi Riftwatchers e Tower Defense e quindi entrerò e investirò al 100% in entrambe le vendite ma ancora non so se lo farò durante la presale o se lo farò durante la general sale.
La mia decisione finale dipenderà dall'entità dell'effetto FOMO che determinerà il valore futuro che avranno in particolare i token VOUCHER quando il loro utilizzo sarà concretamente necessario e quindi poco tempo prima dell'inizio delle prevendite ;)

In conclusione voglio condividere tutta la mia felicità nel vedere l'ecosistema di Splinterlands ampliarsi.
La nascita di un nuovo gioco e di un nuovo progetto è sempre un fattore positivo per tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands ma anche per tutto l'ecosistema di Hive.
Se il gioco Splinterlands Tower Defense avrà successo porterà benefici anche alla blockchain di Hive perchè la blockchain di Hive, con tutte le sue utilità e particolarità, aggiunge valore ad ogni progetto costruito su di essa e allo stesso tempo ogni progetto sviluppato sulla blockchain di Hive aggiunge valore ad Hive e al suo ecosistema.
