Splinterlands Recent News: The release of Soulkeep is near! 42 New soulbound cards in summer + My Next Card Upgrade Target
On June 20, 2024, five days ago there was the Splinterlands Town Hall during which Splinterlands announced several interesting news.
In my opinion the most important news is the announcement of the imminent release of the playable version of Soulkeep, a tower defense game developed by Double Coconut.
Initially Soulkeep was a game that was to be developed by Splinterlands and Double Coconut but then the project was completely sold to Double Coconut who is now the sole owner and is solely responsible for the project but will pay Splinterlands to use Splinterlands' platform to perform game operations.
I am interested in the Soulkeep game because I participated in the presale of Soulkepp on September 2022.
During the presale I purchased 167 Nightmare packs for which I spent 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS which were worth $662 at the time of my purchase.
It's been a long time since the presale and today my 167 Nightmare packs are worth a little more than 1000 HIVE = about $228 so they have lost value over time but thanks to these packs I have received many SPS tokens in a completely passive way.
The wait for the release of the playable version of Soulkeep lasted much longer than expected but I am glad that we are now only a few days away from the release of the playable version and I am especially curious to try this game.
A new section reserved for Soulkeep rewards has been added to the DASHBOARD->SPS section.

The helpful site Peakmonsters has also added a new section related to Soulkeep.

In fact, in the last Town Hall it was announced that there will be the release of 42 new soulbound cards in the summer, and concurrently with the release of the new soulbound cards it will be possible to unlock soulbound cards of the Chaos Legion set that will become transferable and saleable.
Splintelands has also published a Focus Map to summarize in compact mode all the points the development team is working on (see screenshot below).
I honestly don't like the latest change recently introduced on Splinterlands (the Wild Pass) but I liked many points and ideas shown in the latest Town Hall.
In particular I liked reading in the Fairplay Policy section that Splinterlands has built tools to detect the use of bots because my hope is that bots will be completely eliminated from my favorite blockchain game and I hope that Splinterlands more sooner rather than later will finally make this important decision instead of thinking of suboptimal and even counterproductive solutions like the current Wild Pass.
My next upgrade goal
I have recently completed some of my upgrade goals and it is time for me to set some new upgrade goals.
The last upgrade goal I completed is related to the neutral card Magi Of Chaos: level 4 -> level 6
I also have active Bid purchase offers to complete my upgrade goals related to the Silverblade Fighter and Vruz cards.
As a new upgrade goal I have chosen a card of the Rebellion set that I have at level 2 (3 BCX) but would like to upgrade to level 3 (6BCX): Runeseer Sevaya
At level 3 Runeseer Sevaya gains his fourth ability (Repair) and increases his utility in battle.
Today I made a Bid to purchase 3 BCX of Runeseer Sevaya at a price of $5.01 per BCX
I conclude this post by sharing my last battle played in the Gold II league of the Modern Format in which I used just Runeseer Sevaya of level 2.

Il rilascio di Soulkeep è vicino! 42 Nuove carte soulbound in estate + Il mio prossimo obiettivo di upgrade (ENG/ITA)
Il 20 giugno 2024, cinque giorni fa c'è stato lo Splinterlands Town Hall durante il quale Splinterlands ha annunciato diverse interessanti novità.
Secondo me la più importante novità è l'annuncio dell'imminente rilascio della versione giocabile di Soulkeep, un tower defense game sviluppato da Double Coconut.
Inizialmente Soulkeep era un gioco che doveva essere sviluppato da Splinterlands e Double Coconut ma poi il progetto è stato completamente venduto a Double Coconut che è adesso l'unico proprietario ed è l'unico responsabile del progetto ma pagherà Splinterlands per utilizzare la piattaforma di Splinterlands per effettuare le operazioni di gioco.
Io ho partecipato alla presale di Soulkepp il 20 settembre 2022 e ho acquistato 167 Nightmare packs per i quali ho speso 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHERS che al momento del mio acquisto valevano 662$.
E' passato molto tempo dalla presale e oggi i miei 167 Nightmare packs valgono poco più di 1000 HIVE = circa 228$ e quindi hanno perso valore con il passare del tempo ma grazie a questi pacchi ho ricevuto molti token SPS in maniera del tutto passiva.
L'attesa per il rilascio della versione giocabile di Soulkeep è durata molto più del previsto ma sono contento che adesso mancano pochi giorni al rilascio della versione giocabile e sono soprattutto curioso di provare questo gioco.
Nella sezione DASHBOARD->SPS è stata aggiunta una nuova sezione riservata alle ricompense di Soulkeep.
Su https://www.doublecoconut.com/games è stato aggiunto il link a Soulkeep.
Anche l'utile sito Peakmonsters ha aggiunto una nuova sezione relativa a Soulkeep.
L'altra interessante novità riguarda le Soulbound cards.
E' stato annunciato che in estate ci sarà il rilascio di 42 nuove soulbound cards e contestualmente al rilascio delle nuove soulbound cards sarà possibile sbloccare le carte soulbound del set Chaos Legion che diventeranno trasferibili e vendibili.
Splintelands ha pubblicato anche una Focus Map per riassumere in modalità compatta tutti i punti su cui sta lavorando il team di sviluppo (vedi screenshot seguente).
Sinceramente non mi piace l'ultima modifica introdotta di recente su Splinterlands (il Wild Pass) ma mi sono piaciuti molti punti e molte idee mostrate nell'ultimo Town Hall.
In particolare mi è piaciuto leggere nella sezione Fairplay Policy che Splinterlands ha costruito dei tools per individuare l'uso dei bots perchè la mia speranza è che i bots siano completamente eliminati dal mio gioco blockchain preferito e spero che Splinterlands più prima che poi prenda finalmente questa importante decisione invece di pensare a soluzioni non ottimali e anche controproducenti come l'attuale Wild Pass.
Il mio prossimo obiettivo di upgrade
Di recente ho completato alcuni miei obiettivi di upgrade ed è il momento per me di fissare dei nuovi obiettivi di upgrade.
L'ultimo obiettivo di upgrade che ho completato è relativo alla carta neutrale Magi Of Chaos: level 4 -> level 6
Ho anche delle offerte di acquisto Bid attive per completare i miei obiettivi di upgrade relativi alle carte Silverblade Fighter e Vruz
Come nuovo obiettivo di upgrade ho scelto una carta del set Rebellion che ho al livello 2 (3 BCX) ma mi piacerebbe portare al livello 3 (6BCX): Runeseer Sevaya
Al livello 3 Runeseer Sevaya acquisisce la sua quarta abilità (Repair) e aumenta la sua utilità in battaglia.
Oggi ho effettuato un'offerta di acquisto Bid per acquistare 3 BCX di Runeseer Sevaya al prezzo di 5.01$ per BCX
Concludo questo post condividendo la mia ultima battaglia giocata nella lega Gold II del Modern Format nella quale ho utilizzato proprio Runeseer Sevaya di livello 2.
