Broken Arrows is a rule that prevents any cards with a Range attack from being used, making the battle between Magicians and Melees.

The melees target either the front line or the monster with the lowest amount of life, which are the ones with the Opportunity ability, or even the last position of the back line, which are the ones with the Sneak ability.
Magics, on the other hand, only attack the front line, unless some ruleset or summoner makes them target other positions.
If the mana limit is high, above 40, it's interesting to put a good tanker at the front, especially with the Void ability. If the maximum amount is lower than that, it's worth worrying about your back line, putting a good defender in the last position, and protecting the most vulnerable, i.e. those with the lowest amount of life, with armor that can be provided by the summoner or the Protect ability.
In the battle I faced recently, my opponent followed some of the tips given earlier, and ironically I didn't. This happened because of the other rules I had to follow. This was due to the other rules that appeared and made me make different decisions, although I understand that the cards selected by my opponent were better.
In addition to the weekly challenge rule, two others were present:
Equal Opportunity: all monsters on the field gain the ability Opportunity. This means that everyone will target those with the lowest amount of life.

Earthquake: all monsters on the field will receive 2 points of physical damage each round, with the exception of those with the Flying ability.

This last rule was the main reason why I decided to play with another element. Instead of choosing water, I opted for death, where there were 3 cards with Flying to be able to avoid the damage caused each round, as well as increasing the chance of dodging attacks from the Meeles. They were: Pelacor Deceiver, Riftwing and Will O Wisp.
The last two have no attack, which is why I was able to add this attribute because of Skok Duskblight's Weapons Training.
The summoner I chose was Thaddius Brood, which reduces the magic attack of all rival units by 1 point. With that, I had an excellent defensive strategy with a decent attack.

My opponent planned well defensively too, but he didn't put in any cards that could avoid the damage caused by Flying. There were 3 cards with high amounts of life, and two of them had the ability Void, which reduces the attack caused by Magics.
That's how the positioning was and all the cards selected on both sides:
In the second round, my Magic monsters eliminate the opponent's tanker. The good thing about using them is that they ignore armor and attack the target's life directly.
This makes it 4 vs 2 with the advantage going to my side. Although they suffered less magic damage, my opponent's cards still suffered 2 more points because of the other rule.
So I won the battle in round number 6, with 2 monsters left on my side.

This battle showed that it's always interesting to analyze all the rules together to make the best decision. By looking at the other rules that were present, in addition to the weekly challenge rule, my tips turned out not to be the best option, showing that we must look at all the variables.
