Fan Art Splinterlands, Goblin Shaman Pixel Art Style (ENG/ESP)
Greetings friends, art lovers and artists, you are all welcome to my publication.
Today I share with you my new participation to the new Art Constest of Splinterlands, so I wanted to make my pixelated version of the Goblin Shaman.
This card reduces the vitality of all enemies, although this card does not fight during combat, it is very useful to plan a good strategy before the battle, it can also be used as a shield to protect allied cards from 1 hit, when I played it I got to use it in some occasions.

El día de hoy les comparto mi nueva participación al nuevo Art Constest de Splinterlands, así que quise hacer mi versión pixelada del Goblin Shaman.
Esta carta reduce la vitalidad de todos los enemigos, aunque esta carta no pelea durante el combate, es muy útil para planear una buena estrategia antes de la batalla, también se puede usar como escudo para proteger a las cartas aliadas de 1 golpe, cuando lo jugaba lo llegue a usar en algunas ocasiones.

First I start with a sketch of the pose I want my Shaman to have, in this case I had in mind that he was in a kind of cavern, lighting his way with a staff.
Then I started to improve some lines with the help of some tools that Medi Bang allowed me to use, it was a slow process, but improving some lines, this helped me a lot to be able to use a pose that reflects what the character is actually doing.

Primero comienzo con un boceto de la pose que quiero que tenga mi Chamán, que en este caso tenía en mente de que se encontraba en una especie de caverna, alumbrando su camino con un bastón.
Después comencé a mejorar algunas líneas con la ayuda de algunas herramientas que Medi Bang me permitía usar, fue un proceso lento, pero mejorando algunas líneas, esto me ayudo mucho para poder usar una pose que refleje lo que el personaje en realidad está haciendo.

The costume was a little complicated to make, since I wanted to make it totally different from the reference image, in the part of the staff I was a little unsure of whether to leave it as I had done or turn it into a torch, as it was difficult for me to make some improvements in the future.
Next, I began to give color to the drawing, the costume is a typical one of those used by these creatures in some video games, as it is a Shaman, ideal would be an outfit that would combine him according to his trade.

El vestuario fue un poco complicado de hacer, ya que quería hacerlo totalmente diferente al de la imagen de referencia, en la parte del bastón estaba un poco inseguro de saber si dejarlo así como lo había hecho o convertirlo en una antorcha, ya que se me dificultaron algunas mejoras en el futuro.
Seguidamente, comencé a darle color al dibujo, el vestuario es uno típico de los que usan estas criaturas en algunos videojuegos, como se trata de un Chamán, ideal sería un atuendo que le combinara según su oficio.

Then I started to work with some depths of the face, using a little darker skin tone, with these areas already marked, I could add better the illuminations and depths of his face, as Goblins have always been a bit terrifying creatures physically, I wanted to make it a little more scary.
Then I adjust the depths and the color of the eyes, in my drawings, I like to start from the head to the feet, because this way I can see the percentage in which I am advancing in my drawing, I work everything in a straight line to be able to visualize the progress, because it usually happens to me that when I work in different sides in a random way and I notice that I still lack, I begin to despair for wanting to finish it, because this style of drawing takes a long time.

Después comencé a trabajar con algunas profundidades del rostro, usando un tono de piel un poco más oscuro, con estas zonas ya marcadas, podre agregarle mejor las iluminaciones y profundidades de su rostro, como los Goblins siempre han sido unas criaturas un poco terroríficas físicamente, quise hacerlo de una manera un poco más tenebrosa.
Después ajuste las profundidades y el color de los ojos, en mis dibujos, me gusta mucho comenzar desde la cabeza hasta los pies, ya que así voy viendo el porcentaje en la que voy avanzando en mi dibujo, todo lo trabajo en línea recta para poder visualizar el avance, ya que suele pasarme que cuando trabajo en diferentes lados de manera aleatoria y noto que aún me falta, comienzo a desesperarme por querer terminarlo, ya que este estilo de dibujo toma mucho su tiempo.

When I finished with the face part, I began to work with the body part, first I valued the left side of the arm with all its details and depths, this part took me much more time than the face, because I had to be careful not to combine one color with the other so that the drawing did not look flat.
Once this part was finished, I started to work with the right side, it was a little complicated the hands of this character, since I have always had the problem that the perspective is not ideal for a type of arm, so I tried to make it as good as possible.

Al terminar con la parte del rostro, comencé a trabajar con la parte del cuerpo, primero valoricé el lado izquierdo del brazo con todo y sus detalles y profundidades, esta parte me tomo mucho más tiempo que el rostro, ya que tenía que estar atento a no combinar un color con el otro para que el dibujo no se viera plano.
Una vez terminada esta parte, comencé a trabajar con el lado derecho, se me complico un poco las manos de este personaje, ya que siempre he tenido esa molestia de que la perspectiva no es la ideal para un tipo de brazo, así que trate de hacerla lo mejor posible.

Then I started to work with the waist part, which was much more complicated than I thought, since I had to mix some colors and create some designs that fit with his Shaman's craft, his costume has some engravings like the language of these creatures.
After finishing in the aforementioned part, all work on the areas of the legs, which also had some engravings, he also has some rags hanging from his belt, the same gives him a threatening touch in conjunction with his bitter face.
Finally I had worked on his feet, they have a bandage that protects him from irregularities, I only had to work on the cane, when I had the idea of turning it into a torch spy, but that would be his magic to illuminate his way in dark places.

Después comencé a trabajar con la parte de la cintura, que fue mucho más complicado de lo que pensaba, ya que tenía que mezclar algunos colores y crear algunos diseños que encajara con su oficio de Chamán, su traje tiene algunos grabados como el idioma de estas criaturas.
Al terminar en la parte antes mencionada, todo trabajar en las zonas de las piernas, las cuales también tenían unos grabados, también tiene unos trapos colgados de su cinturón, el mismo le ta un toque amenazante en conjunto de su rostro amargado.
Por último había trabajado en sus pies, los mismos poseen una venda que lo protege de las irregularidades, tan solo me faltaba trabajar en el bastón, momento donde tuve la idea de convertirlo en una espíe de antorcha, pero ese sería su magia para poder iluminar su camino en los lugares oscuros.
