Spirit of the Forest | Fan Art Splinterlands | Pixel Art Style | (ENG/ESP)
Greetings my dear friends art lovers and artists, you are all welcome to my publication.
Today I share with you a Fan Art in my pixel art style of one of the Splinterlands cards, it consists of the spirit of the forest, a very useful card to face the enemies from a distance, always attacking the first one you get on the board, it also has the ability to evade under a certain percentage of melee attacks.

Saludos mis queridos amigos amantes del arte y artistas, sean todos bienvenidos a mi publicación.
El día de hoy les comparto un Fan Art a mi estilo pixel art de una de las cartas de Splinterlands, el mismo consiste en el espíritu del bosque, una carta muy útil para enfrentarse a los enemigos de distancia, atacando siempre al primero que consiga en el tablero, también siente la habilidad de evadir bajo un cierto porcentaje los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo.

In order to start my drawing, the first thing I did was a sketch of the pose and position I wanted for my character, which in this case will be frontal.
I wanted to make a little different the character of the card, since it is a little bit evil elf, although the reference image looks very tender, I wanted to add a little more seriousness and look like a villain.
Next, I started working on the line art, improving some lines and shapes that would help me to add some extra decorations later on.

Para poder comenzar a realizar mi dibujo, lo primero que hice fue un boceto de la pose y posición que quería para mi personaje, que en este caso será de manera frontal.
Quería hacer un poco diferente al personaje de la carta, ya que se trata de un elfo un poco maligno, aunque la imagen de referencia se vea muy tierna, quiera agregarle un poco más de seriedad y que luciera con un aspecto a villano.
Seguidamente, comencé a trabajar en el line art, mejorando algunas líneas y formas que me ayudaran agregarle más adelante algunas decoraciones extras.

Having a little advanced the drawing in the sketch, I began to improve all the lines and expressions of the face, I wanted to make the eyes a little slanted to give some improvements in details later, thanks to the fact that I can clarify the layers in the drawing program I use, I can better visualize some parts that I had previously done in the sketch process.
Finally I improved other details that I had to improve, this time I didn't want to make the sketch 100% because I wanted to try a new technique of valorization in the drawing, the same is to make the whole base first and then color each of the structure of the drawing separately and thus add all the details in each step.

Al tener un poco avanzado el dibujo en el boceto, comencé a mejorar todas las líneas y expresiones del rostro, los ojos se lo quise hacer un poco achinados para poder darle algunas mejoras en detalles más adelante, gracias a que puedo aclarar las capas en el programa que uso de dibujo, puedo visualizar mejor algunas parte que anteriormente había realizado en el proceso del boceto.
Por último mejoré otros detalles que me faltaron por mejorar, esta vez no quise hacer el boceto al 100% porque quería probar una nueva técnica de valorizado en el dibujo, el mismo se trata de hacer toda la base de primero para después colorear cada una de la estructura del dibujo por separado y así agregarle todos los detalles en cada paso.

Then I began to color each of the parts, starting first with the face, hair and costume, the same tones are a little green, because it is a forest spirit, and also in our reference image, I had to make the drawing in my style, but retaining some details that in the reference image is appreciated.
In the part of the head, I wanted to add a grass headband with elk antlers, as it would make it look very amazing and eye-catching.
Once I was working on that part, I began to value completely the face, placing some depths and improvements in some parts of it, I do this to be able to visualize the progress I have in my drawings, and it helps me not to lose concentration in the process.

Después comencé a colorear cada una de las partes, comenzando primero por el rostro, cabello y el vestuario, los mismos tonos son un poco verde, debido a que se trata de un espíritu del bosque, y también en nuestra imagen de referencia, tenía que hacer el dibujo a mi estilo, pero conservando algunos detalles que en la imagen de referencia se aprecia.
En la parte de la cabeza, quise agregarle una diadema de césped con cuernos de alce, ya que la ara lucir muy asombrosa y llamativa.
Una vez trabado en esa parte, comencé a valorizar completamente el rostro, colocando algunas profundidades y mejoras en algunas partes del mismo, esto lo hago para poder visualizar el avance que tengo en mis dibujos, y me ayuda a no perder la concentración en el proceso.

When I finished with the face, I began to work on the hair, which was very complicated, at that time I had an artistic block in the hair, I tried to improve some details, then I erased them and returned to create another one, but the ideas did not come out, so it took me a few hours to choose a good hair for this character.
In order not to lose my head a little bit in the hair process, I worked on another part of the drawing, like the elk antlers of the headband, then I worked on the neck part and finally the clothing.

Al haber terminado con el rostro, comencé a trabajar en el cabello, el cual fue muy complicado, en ese momento tenía un bloqueo artístico en el cabello, intente mejorar algunos detalles, después los borraba y volvía a crear otro, pero no me salían las ideas, así que me tomo algunas horas para poder elegir un buen cabello para este personaje.
Para no perder un poco la cabeza en el proceso del cabello, trabaje en otra parte del dibujo, como el caso de los cuernos de alce de la diadema, después trabaje con la parte del cuello y por último la vestimenta.
In the final part of the drawing after a few minutes of rest, I could recover a little the artistic block and I began to work in detail in all the parts of the drawing, first I began to improve the hair, since it was the part that brought me more problems in the process, I applied some ideal colors for the green, some illuminations and some small gradients without the need to blur, since in pixel art the tones are not blurred.
I also added some extra details that I was missing from the reference image and finally I had added a background, I did it to highlight a little more my drawing.
This way I could make my Splinterlands fan art, thank you very much for coming this far in my publication, I hope you like it, until next time.

[Spanish version]En la parte final del dibujo luego de unos minutos de descanso, pude recuperar un poco el bloqueo artístico y comencé a trabajar detalladamente en todas las partes del dibujo, primero comencé a mejorar el cabello, ya que era la parte que más problemas me trajo en el proceso, aplique algunos colores ideales para el verde, algunas iluminaciones y unos pequeños degradados sin la necesidad de difuminar, ya que en pixel art no se difuminan los tonos.
También agregué algunos detalles extras que se me estaban escapando de la imagen de referencia y por último había agregado un fondo, el mismo lo hice para destacar un poco más mi dibujo.
