Hello everyone! I'm Lorentm, a digital artist passionate about fan art and anime style. Today I want to share with you my latest project, part of the social media section of Splinterlands in which I participate every week. For this initiative, I decided to reinterpret the character of "Wood Nymph" in anime style, and I'm very excited to show you the result.

In this piece, I immersed myself in the magical world of Splinterlands to capture the enchanting essence of the Wood Nymph. The nymph takes center stage, radiating a mystical energy that is reflected in her large, expressive blue eyes and soft smile. I wanted her gaze to convey both the serenity of nature and the vibrancy of the spirit she embodies.

Her hair is a mix of green and blonde, falling in voluminous locks that flow like branches from a tree. I adorned her hair with a red flower, a detail that perfectly complements her natural surroundings. Wood Nymph's clothing, in shades of pink and beige, wraps gracefully around her figure, suggesting movement and fluidity, as if the forest wind is always around her.

The scene takes place in a serene forest, bathed in warm shades of yellow and brown. Trees frame the image, creating a cozy haven for the nymph, while rounded stones dot the ground at her feet, adding texture and depth to the composition.

In working on this fan art, I strove to capture the charm and magic of the Wood Nymph through vibrant colors and details characteristic of the anime style. En esta pieza, me sumergí en el mágico mundo de Splinterlands para capturar la esencia encantadora de la Wood Nymph. La nymph ocupa el centro de la escena, irradiando una energía mística que se refleja en sus grandes ojos azules expresivos y su suave sonrisa. Quería que su mirada transmitiera tanto la serenidad de la naturaleza como la vivacidad del espíritu que encarna.

Su cabello es una mezcla de verde y rubio, cayendo en mechones voluminosos que fluyen como ramas de un árbol. Adorné su cabello con una flor roja, un detalle que complementa perfectamente su entorno natural. A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumun in a frenzy of mischief.

Un peculiar brote nuevo apareció en las puntas de las ramas más altas del Árbol Saúco. Los animales que vivían en el árbol observaron cómo crecían los extraños brotes y, en cuestión de días, se abrieron. De cada brote salía un diminuto duendecillo. Estas ninfas del bosque se dispersaron rápidamente alrededor de Anumun en un frenesí de travesuras.

Process / Proceso

Creating my Wood Nymph fan art was a journey full of creativity and detail. It all started with the sketch. I used soft, light lines to shape the pose and the main elements of the nymph. At this stage, my goal was to capture the essence of the character and make sure the composition flows harmoniously.

With the sketch ready, I moved on to outlining. Here, I took the time to refine the lines, adding sharper and more precise details. I used darker, sharper strokes to highlight the nymph's key features, such as her big blue eyes and soft smile. This step is crucial to establish the solid foundation of the drawing and ensure that all elements are well structured.

The next step was coloring. I chose a vibrant palette to bring Wood Nymph to life. I colored her hair in shades of green and blonde, making sure each strand had a natural, flowing feel. Her outfit in shades of pink and beige was carefully colored to suggest movement and grace. I made sure the colors complemented each other, creating a visual harmony throughout the piece.

Applying shadows and shimmers was one of the most exciting parts of the process. I used soft, gradient shadows to give depth and volume to the drawing. The shadows on her hair, clothing and surroundings helped create a sense of three-dimensionality. Then, I added sparkles in strategic areas, such as in her eyes and in the red flower in her hair, to highlight and bring the illustration to life. The sparkles added a touch of magic, making the nymph seem to radiate an inner light.

Each of these stages was essential to capture the charm and mystique of the Wood Nymph. By combining these elements, I was able to create a piece that not only reflects the spirit of the character, but also stands out for its vibrant and detailed anime style.

Crear mi fan art de la Wood Nymph fue un viaje lleno de creatividad y detalle. Todo comenzó con el boceto. Usé líneas suaves y ligeras para dar forma a la pose y a los elementos principales de la nymph. En esta etapa, mi objetivo fue capturar la esencia del personaje y asegurarme de que la composición fluya de manera armoniosa.

Con el boceto listo, pasé al delineado. Aquí, tomé el tiempo para refinar las líneas, añadiendo detalles más nítidos y precisos. Usé trazos más oscuros y definidos para resaltar las características clave de la nymph, como sus grandes ojos azules y su sonrisa suave. Este paso es crucial para establecer la base sólida del dibujo y garantizar que todos los elementos estén bien estructurados.

El siguiente paso fue el coloreado. Elegí una paleta vibrante para darle vida a la Wood Nymph. Coloreé su cabello con tonos de verde y rubio, asegurándome de que cada mechón tuviera un toque natural y fluido. Su vestimenta en tonos de rosa y beige fue cuidadosamente coloreada para sugerir movimiento y gracia. Luego, añadí brillos en áreas estratégicas, como en sus ojos y en la flor roja de su cabello, para resaltar y dar vida a la ilustración. Los brillos añadieron un toque de magia, haciendo que la nymph pareciera irradiar una luz interna.

Cada una de estas etapas fue fundamental para capturar el encanto y la mística de la Wood Nymph. Al combinar estos elementos, logré crear una pieza que no solo refleja el espíritu del personaje, sino que también destaca por su estilo anime vibrante y detallado.
