Con i risultati del torneo, terminano i festeggiamenti del sesto compleanno di Splinterlands! - (ENG/ITA) - With the results of the tournament, the celebrations for Splinterlands' sixth birthday come to an end!

Buongiorno a tutti!

Approfittando di un momento di tregua, in questa giornata che ha visto il tempo cambiare già per ben quattro volte di seguito, eccomi fare quattro passi, come cerco di fare ogni weekend, o comuqnue appena se ne presenta l'occasione, e sfruttare la cosa per dedicarmi a buttare giù queste mie poche righe per questo mio nuovo post, dedicato, i nquesto caso, al mondo di Splinterlands.

Sembra proprio che, nonostante ormai sia iniziato giugno, per il momento il meteo sia ancora molto indeciso sul da farsi, e non stia ancora permettendo l'inizio di quella "bella stagione" che in tanti stiamo attendendo già da un bel po'.

Vi lascio immaginare, al riguardo, la mia incazzatura in quanto possessore, da più o meno 3 mesi, di una nuova moto che non mi è ancora riuscito di sfruttare adeguatamente, salvo rarissime occasioni, visto che le continue piogge che hanno sferzato le nostre giornate negli ultimi mesi, sembravano essere incessanti.

C'è da dire, però, che negli ultimi tempi ho anche un po' meno tempo a disposizione, poiché, oltre a gestire i miei impegni familiari, e personali, ho iniziato una collaborazione, che sinceramente non mi dispiacerebbe portare avanti, con una società di marketing on-line, in qualità di setter, ovvero colui che chiama un elenco di Lead, interessati a ricevere informazioni su un determinato servizio, o prodotto, con lo scopo di riuscire a fissare una call durante la quale si andrà, poi, a vendere lo stesso ai vari interessati.

Considerando che la cosa, per il momento, mi sta portando via più o meno 4 ore giornaliere, con ritorni che potrebbero essere piuttosto interessanti, non mi dispiacerebbe affatto che nei prossimi giorni questa opportunità si concretizzasse in un qualcosa di serio, visto che mi consentirebbe guadagni interessanti da aggiungere a quelli, che mi auguro di riuscire a rendere sempre più importanti, derivanti da alcuni progetti sui quali da qualche tempo mi sto muovendo, e che, seppur lentamente, stanno prendendo la giusta direzione, almeno in apparenza, e salvo imprevisti.

Tutto questo, però, c'entra ben poco con gli argomenti di cui dovrei parlare, in realtà, in questo mio nuovo articolo, e, di conseguenza, direi che è il caso di smetterla con le mie continue divagazioni personali, dalle quali fin troppo spesso mi faccio prendere la mano, e di andare piuttosto ad affrontare il tema principale, che riguarda i festeggiamenti, per il sesto compleanno, di Splinterlands, che in pratica stanno concludendosi proprio in questi giorni.

Come detto in un mio post precedente, infatti, gli stessi ci hanno proposto un paio di interessanti contest che, per chi è riuscito a sfruttarli adeguatamente, potrebbero riservare delle sorprese piuttosto piacevoli, visto che, in entrambi i casi, ci sì sarebbe trovati di fronte a premi piuttosto "simpatici".

Il primo era legato al mondo di Twitter, la piattaforma ora chiamata X, e consisteva nella possibilità di condividere, commentare, mettere like, o scrivere nuovi post, dedicati al mondo di Splinterlands usando l'hashtag #ageofthebattlemage, partecipando, così, alla ricca estrazione di ben 335 rebellion Booster packs, che saranno spartiti tra 120 vincitori scelti tra i partecipanti più attivi.

La seconda possibilità, invece, ci veniva offerta da un torneo, con un montepremi veramente ricco, che consentirà a chi si ritroverà primo in classifica, dopo aver affrontato tutti i vari scontri, di portarsi a casa un milione di DEC, cinque Plot ed un Runi, per un controvalore decisamente importante, al quale si aggiungevano, poi, premi minori fino alla posizione 138.

Personalmente ho fatto un tentativo, iscrivendomi allo stesso, visto che tanto, comunque, la prestazione era completamente gratuita, ma ammetto di non avere ottenuto un posizionamento molto felice, visto che ho terminato la mia partecipazione allo stesso in 587esima posizione.

Al di là del fatto che il numero di partecipanti era decisamente consistente, e probabilmente tra questi ci saranno stati giocatori tra i migliori in circolazione, una cosa che, per assurdo, mi ha messo in difficoltà, è stata la possibilità di poter utilizzare, durante gli scontri che si andavano ad affrontare, qualsiasi tipo di carta attualmente disponibile, anche se non in nostro possesso.

Se inizialmente mi sono ritrovato con la stessa eccitazione di un bambino di fronte ai regali sotto l'albero di Natale, pronto a scartarli, dall’altro una buona parte di quelle che mi sono trovato di fronte, non le avevo mai utilizzate, e quindi, molto probabilmente, mi sono un po' fatto prendere la mano, e ho combinato qualche casino, proponendo schieramenti decisamente inadeguati, ottenendo risultati deludenti.

Fortunatamente qualche soddisfazione in più riesco ad ottenerla nel gioco normale, visto che mi è riuscito di arrivare addirittura alla lega Champions II, cosa che non accadeva ormai da tempo immemore, anche se, in questo caso, non sono così certo che tutto questo mi abbia aiutato nei miei risultati.

Non avendo una così gran quantità di SPS in staking, infatti, temo che, al salire di livello, corrisponda anche una diminuzione delle rewards ricevute in caso di vittoria negli scontri contro i miei avversari, che, molto probabilmente, sarebbero più interessanti se lottassi in un in una lega adatta a quelli che posseggo.

Tra l'altro temo che questa situazione condizioni anche ciò che mi può riuscire di trovare all'interno degli scrigni che dovessi mai andare a selezionare, ed acquistare, con i Glint da me guadagnati, almeno stando alle mie esperienze dei giorni scorsi.

Per ovviare a questa situazione, per il momento ho deciso, quindi, di procedere con acquisti ben mirati, e di selezionare, di volta in volta, esclusivamente quello che mi interessa, all'interno dello shop, visto che non mi va di sprecare i miei token per ritrovarmi di fronte alla possibilità di ricevere premi non graditi.

Divagazioni sull'argomento a parte, anche il sesto compleanno di Splinterlands è ormai passato, e non ci resta, quindi, altro da fare se non attendere il prossimo, valutando, nel frattempo, che cosa ci troveremo di fronte in questo nuovo anno che ci attende, che penso sarà, come sempre, piuttosto pieno di numerose novità, e sorprese, anche se, magari, non sempre tutte mi troveranno d'accordo così come già successo in passato.

Detto questo, però, Splinterlands continua a rimanere un ottimo gioco, probabilmente uno dei migliori sul panorama attuale dei cosiddetti Play to Earn, e certamente uno dei migliori per quello che riguarda tutti quelli che gravitano intorno all'orbita di Hive.

Good morning everyone!

Taking advantage of a moment of respite, on this day that has seen the weather change four times in a row, here I am taking a walk, as I try to do every weekend, or whenever the opportunity arises, and taking advantage of the situation to dedicate myself to jotting down these few lines for this new post of mine, dedicated, in this case, to the world of Splinterlands.

It seems that, even though June has now begun, for the moment the weather is still very undecided on what to do, and is not yet allowing the beginning of that "beautiful season" that many of us are hoping for waiting for quite some time already.

You can imagine, in this regard, my anger as the owner, for more or less 3 months, of a new motorbike that I have not yet managed to use adequately, except for very rare occasions, given that the continuous rains that have hit our days in recent months, seemed to be incessant.

It must be said, however, that lately I have also had a little less time available, since, in addition to managing my family and personal commitments, I have started a collaboration, which I sincerely would not mind continuing, with an online marketing company, as a setter, or someone who calls a list of Leads, interested in receiving information on a certain service, or product, with the aim of being able to set up a call during which we will then go on to sell the same to the various interested parties.

Considering that this is currently taking me more or less 4 hours a day, with returns that could be quite interesting, I wouldn't mind at all if this opportunity materialized in something serious in the next few days, since it would allow me interesting earnings to add to those, which I hope to be able to make increasingly important, deriving from some projects on which I have been moving for some time, and which, albeit slowly, are taking the right direction, at least apparently, and barring unforeseen events.

All this, however, has very little to do with the topics I should actually talk about in this new article of mine, and, consequently, I would say that it is time to stop with my continuous personal digressions, which I get carried away with all too often, and instead go and tackle the main topic, which concerns the celebrations for the sixth birthday of Splinterlands, which are basically ending right now.

As mentioned in my previous post, in fact, they themselves proposed a couple of interesting contests that, for those who managed to exploit them adequately, could reserve some rather pleasant surprises, given that, in both cases, we would have found ourselves faced with rather "nice" prizes.

The first was linked to the world of Twitter, the platform now called X, and consisted of the possibility of sharing, commenting, liking, or writing new posts, dedicated to the world of Splinterlands using the hashtag #ageofthebattlemage, thus participating in the rich extraction of 335 rebellion Booster packs, which will be divided among 120 winners chosen among the most active participants.

The second possibility, however, was offered to us by a tournament, with a truly rich prize pool, which will allow whoever finds himself first in the ranking, after having faced all the various clashes, to take home a million DEC, five Plots and a Runi, for a decidedly important counter value, to which were then added, smaller prizes up to position 138.

Personally I made a try, signing up for it, since, anyway, the service was completely free, but I admit that I did not obtain a very happy positioning, since I ended my participation in it in 587th position.

Aside from the fact that the number of participants was quite large, and probably among them there were some of the best players around, one thing that, absurdly, put me in difficulty was the possibility of being able to use, during the clashes that we were going to face, any type of card currently available, even if we didn't own it.

If initially I found myself with the same excitement of a child in front of the presents under the Christmas tree, ready to unwrap them, on the other hand a good part of those that I found in front of me, I had never used, and therefore, most likely, I got a bit carried away, and I made a mess, proposing decidedly inadequate lines, obtaining disappointing results.

Fortunately I can get some more satisfaction in the normal game, since I even managed to get to the Champions II league, something that hasn't happened for ages, even if, in this case, I'm not so sure that all this helped me in my results.

Not having such a large amount of SPS in stake, in fact, I fear that, as I level up, there will also be a decrease in the rewards received in case of victory in the clashes against my opponents, which, most likely, would be more interesting if I fought in a league suitable for those I have.

Among other things, I fear that this situation also conditions what I can manage to find inside the chests that I might ever go to select, and buy, with the Glint I earned, at least according to my experiences in the past few days.

To overcome this situation, for the moment I have decided, therefore, to proceed with well-targeted purchases, and to select, from time to time, only what interests me, inside the shop, since I do not want to waste my tokens to find myself faced with the possibility of receiving unwanted prizes.

Digressions on the subject aside, Splinterlands' sixth birthday has now passed, and we have nothing left to do but wait for the next one, evaluating, in the meantime, what we will find ourselves facing in this new year that awaits us, which I think will be, as always, rather full of numerous novelties, and surprises, even if, perhaps, not all of them will always find me in agreement as has already happened in the past.

That said, however, Splinterlands continues to be an excellent game, probably one of the best in the current panorama of so-called Play to Earn, and certainly one of the best for all those that gravitate around the Hive orbit.
