BTC Hive and Splinterlands token watch & Brawl results

I hope all Of you are fine and doing well in your life another day passed bye and we have only three days and 16 hours for this current Splinterlands season two end and I have already started my journey to the leaderboard in diamond. I already crossed 3700+ trophies today and crossed the champion mark, but then lost a few and currently sitting at 3656 trophies and will try my best to reach the 20k dec prize this time as well.
Now let us take our daily quick peek at the crypto market. The main dominator BTC is currently being traded at 38861 dollar with a -1.27% price change in last 24 hours. Today bitcoin was able to touch the 40 K dollar price mark once again but soon after it faced a downtrend and came below 39K. The other giant ETH is currently being traded for 2572 dollar with a -1.43% price change in last 24 hours.
Hive on the other hand is currently facing a -4.55% price change in last 24 hours and currently being traded at $0.88 per unit. HBD is holding good and currently priced at 0.991$ per unit.
Now, taking a look at the splinterlands token market, the main in game token DEC is currently being traded for 0.00326$ per unit with a -1.28% change in last 24 hours. SPS on the other hand is currently being sold for 0.1169$ with a +5.94% price change in last 24 hours. Vouchers are selling for 1.026$ and they seems pretty stable there, until something new comes out.
Now, let me move towards the latest splinterlands brawl results and our guild, The Guild Of Neoxian has won the latest brawl and secured the first position again. This time, we had some great guilds fighting against us as the anti social club, IG2, IA and others but all of us brawl warriors poured in their best into this brawls and snatched away the victory. Thanks to neoxian, xawi and all my fellow guild brawlers.
This time, as guild victory rewards, our guild got a total of 96 crowns and each of our brawl partakers who entered all his/her frays got rewarded with 6000 merits. That means 3 gladius packs from 1 brawl! However, I have decided to stack a decent amount of merits to use in future, probably to buy a bulk amount of gladius packs at once or spend if any new guild update comes in. As I play bronze tier, I only need bronze level monsters and Gladly, most of my glad cards has reached up to the mark. I hope the splinterlands team has kept the guild and brawls in their minds and probably thinking cool updates to make them even more fun.

Still wondering if splinterlands is worth the investment. I've heard people say you have to spend over 1000$ USD to get enough cards to start playing properly. Is this a lie? How much do you actually have to invest and how do you make money off the game?
For new players I would suggest to make a bronze or silver tier account first and not to fomo after getting max cards. Splinterlands is a long term investment, so don’t stress over short term back-draws. Just focus on building your accounts day after say as I did with mine 😺
