Splinterlands Brawl progress and 17 gladius packs opening

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are having an awesome day with your friends and family and also enjoying playing this game in your meantime. Well, the time is passing by faster my friend as we have already reached near halfway of this ongoing season and only 8 days and 23 hours left for this current season to hit it’s end-line. So, I hope you guys are playing well in order to reach your next next tier or to fill the reward chests bar even more. For me, the last season I decided to change my playing strategy a bit and instead of moving up in champ league, I decided to stay in diamond league and try for the leaderboard positions. Normally, I would earn a little but more SPS per ranked match win in champ and chances to receive a little better rewards, but instead when I finally reached the threshold level to enter champ, I took the risk and choose not to level up.

But ultimately, it came back as a good news as after playing numerous battles, I secured the send place in diamond leaderboard and got rewarded with whooping 80k liquid dec, which was valued around 68$ at that time. I really felt happy to receive a chunk of liquid money as an unexpected reward and later, I decided to convert the DEC for HBD and locked them into my HBD savings. The riftwatchers pack sale is silently continuing itself in the background and there is not much time left before we come to see it’s end as well. So, right now I am eyeing for good deals while saving money on the remaining Rift cards in my collection and I have only 2 base cards and 2 airdropped card left. Only 3 Riftwatchers airdropped cards are being released till now and another 3 is left which will get unlocked when the rift pack sale reaches certain milestones. So, I hope and trying my best to Collect these remaining cards before the release of next edition cards.

Now, taking a look at the latest brawl stats, our Neoxian guild has finished playing another brawl just recently and thanks all to my fellow guild Mates, we have secured the first place in leaderboard for this brawl as well. This time we were fighting against some Legendary guilds like peakmonsters pirates, T&A legion I, Legendary wizards, legendary unicorns etc but all of us used all their mighty power and fought those brave battles really well and the fewest looses as a guild, we won the first place this time as well. Every guild warrior who played in this brawl and submitted all of their fray matches got rewarded with 181.912 staked SPS and 11,143 merit points while the guild won total 195 crowns this time. No doubt all of our guild members were very happy with the win as usual, the SPS went safely into my staked wallet. I also won a bunch of merits as well and there’s some time being spent already from the last time I Opened some gladius pack. So, I went out to check my build shop page and found out that I have kore than 34k merit being collected already which could buy me 17 gladius packs. So, I did exactly the same and opened them right away, and below I have shared what I got from them.

As you can see from the screenshots above, this time my luck didn't shine that well and I have receive no legendary or gold Foils, only 1 epic card Edith Emberstar and all rest cards are either rare and commons. But it’s okay for me as there comes the bad days of opening packs just before the good ones. So, I will be again saving some merits again for some time now and again buy a bunch of gladius packs when I saved a lot. Another good news is these rare and common cards helped me to update some of my gladius cards to the next level and some of my cards have come near gold league level. As the game has suddenly increased their importance in the game by allowing them to be used in ranked battles and tournaments as well, it mow even more important to collect as more merits as you can collect those soul bound gladius cards into your account.
