What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying the day with your loved ones. For my fellow splinterlands players, I guess all of you are currently all focused on playing the ranked section in this game, as we have already come to the middle of this ongoing ranked season and only 8 days left for this season to meet its end. If you ask me, I am right now playing at Diamond II tier with a current trophy rating of 3,180 only. I am trying to reach the next tier Diamond I right now and the faster I reach there, I will move on to my main of of reaching the Champ League before the season ends. I hope I maintain a better win rate from now on or it will be impossible to reach there when it's near the season's end, and I also wish for you all that you reach your own goals as well.

Now, allow me to move forward and introduce today’s special monster to you all in this post. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Forgotten One. So without any further ado, let us jump right in.

Forgotten One

Forgotten One is a monster card that comes from the chaos card set and it's a core card in that set. It belongs to the Fire element and it costs 9 mana to be used in battles, so you can choose this card easily when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this card is melee attack and it is by rarity an epic type card, so you will require a total of 46 BCX cards to upgrade it to max level. Apart from having. With a high attack power and good defensive stats, it also possesses a useful combo of 3 abilities - Immunity, Retaliate and Piercing that help this card well in battles. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card gets 4 melee attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 9 health and on top of it, this card also gets the Immunity ability which it gets from its initial level. With the help of the Immunity ability, this card will be unaffected by any negative stat effects.

SILVER

At level 3, this card possesses 4 melee attack at 2 speed with an increased 5 armour and 9 health. Besides the high powered stats, it also receives a new ability called Retaliate at this level with which, it has now a 50% chance to hit back whenever attacked by a melee enemy monster.

GOLD

When you upgrade this card to level 5, the stats of this card increase even more, as it now has 5 melee attack power at 2 speed with 5 armour and 10 health. Not only that, it also receives another new ability called Retaliate at this level with which, now whenever it breaks down the armour of an enemy card, it can apply its excess damage to the enemy card’s health.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this card reaches its max level of 6, it then gets an increased 6 melee attack at 2 speed with 5 armour and 10 health. However, it does not get any new ability at this level. But the powerful stats that it is holding right now are more than enough for 9 mana cost.

BATTLE STAT

One time today time while playing the game, I got an awesome medium 32 mana limit match where every element but Life was allowed to choose in this match. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - No Legendary, Enrage and Reverse Speed. For this match, after thinking a little I finally decided on a strategy for this particular match and started to build my lineup accordingly. Let me now reveal my lineup and share the strategy I took for this match.

For this match, I chose the Fire element summoner Tarsa and as the beginning of my lineup, I chose the Forgotten one followed by Junker, Tenyii Striker, Uraeus, Xenith Archer and Flame Mephit at the end position. When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent Legendary Earth Immortalis against me and at the front position of his lineup, he chose the Mycelic Infantry followed by Goblin Psychic, Xenith Archer, Acid Shooter, Goblin Tower and Mycelic Morphoid at the end position. Now, let’s see who wins this match and how my Forgotten One performs in this match.

MATCH PERFORMANCE

As the match started, the enemy Infantry attached first to my Forgotten and broke down its armour, but my Forgotten also retaliated and attacked it back, decreasing its health to 9. Then, the enemy Goblin Tower launched a deadly ranged attack and damaged both my Forgotten and Junker, followed by the enemy Psychic who healed up the Infantry and attacked my Forgotten. Finally, my Forgotten attacked and damaged the enemy Infantry’s health down to 4. At this point and due to the Enrage ability, my Forgotten was possessing an immense 11 melee attack with more speed and health. Next, the enemy Xenith attacked my Forgotten and left it with only 1 health, but then my Junker repaired 2 armour back in the Forgotten and then attacked and successfully killed down the Infantry.

In the second round, the enemy Goblin Tower again launched a brutal attack and took away the armour from my Forgotten and also wounded the Junker, followed by the Psychic’s attack which finally killed down my Forgotten. My minsters were not sleeping though because just after that, my Junker killed down the Psychic and my Tenyii on the other hand targeted the wounded Goblin Tower, but it missed its attack this time. Anyway, though in the next round, the Goblin Tower killed both my Tenyii and Junker, I finally got successful in killing down the rest monsters and thus, I won this amazing match.
