What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing strategy game at its best. Well, if you are a daily player then you must know that the last ranked season in this game has just finished last night and we have already entered a fresh new season. I guess by now all of you players have claimed your season Glint rewards and already started fighting in this new season. For me, last season I finished playing at Diamond I tier and as expected, my trophy ratings have been reset and now I am back into Diamond III again and now I have to start playing the game from here and progress again. On the other hand, the new edition reward cards have been launched into the game as well and now we can use our Glint points to buy these cards from the reward shop. I hope all of you guys are using your Glint balance well after these new cards and if you do not have enough Glint points, the only way to get them is to actually play the game and earn Glint points. So let us all focus even more from now on and earn as many Glint points as we can.

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about an old but dashing monster with you all. As you have already guessed from the thumbnail above, today we will be discussing the NAGA ASSASSIN. So without any further ado, let us jump right in.

Naga Assassin

NAGA ASSASSIN is a monster type card that was launched with the old Chaos Legion edition and this is a reward type card. This card belongs to the Dragon element and the attack type of this card is Ranged. It costs only 2 mana to use this card in battles, so you can easily use this card while playing small to medium mana limit matches. Apart from high speed and good attack power, this monster also holds 2 awesome abilities that will help us in battles. Now, let us take a further look into its league wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster card possesses 1 ranged attack at 5 speed with 3 health but sadly, it does not get any ability from its initial level. But however, its high speed attack will be enough in the Bronze League.

SILVER

When this monster reaches level 4, it gets the same 1 ranged attack at 5 speed with an increased 4 health. Not only that, but it also gets an ability called Backfire at this level. With this new ability, this monster now can do 2 reverse damage to its attackers if they miss their target on this monster.

GOLD

As this monster upgrades to level 6, it finally receives an increased 2 ranged attack at 6 speed with 4 health along with the Backfire ability that I talked about above.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this monster gets upgraded to its final level 8, it gets 2 ranged attack at 6 speed with 5 health and it also gets a new ability at its max level named Swift. With this new ability, this monster now can give +1 speed to all its friendly monsters.

BATTLE STATS

In this battle, the limit was medium with a 26 mana limit and there were 3 elements allowed in this match - Water, Death and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this battle - No Legendaries, No Neutral and Close Range. After seeing all the rules and limits I started building my lineup accordingly. For my strategy, I wanted to attack his front position mostly and for that, I chose the Dragon summoner Quix with water cards and at my frost position, I selected the Diemonshark monster followed by Tide Biter, Pelacor Bandit, Merdaali Guardian, Angelic Mandarin and Naga Assassin at my end position.

When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Water summoner Kelya against me and for his lineup, he chose the Cruel Sethropod at the front position followed by Tide Biter, Deeplurker, Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph and Pelacor Bandit at the end position. While the Diemonshark on my side is the strongest, he put his faith in the Deeplurker. So, let’s see who wins this match.

BATTLE BEGINS

When the fight started, my Naga attacked the first and broke some of the Cruel’s armor but then, the enemy Bandit attacked my Naga and wounded it down to 2 health. However, the Mandarin came with help and healed my Naga back to 4 health. But sadly, my naga had the lowest health and then the enemy Deeplurker attacked it, it got killed in action in the very first round. Afterwards, my other monsters played really well, especially the Diemonshark who used multiple retaliate attacks and helped me to kill down enemy cards. Finally, the Tide Biter and Pelacor Bandit teamed up together and killed down all the 3 remaining monsters and thus, I won another amazing battle.
