What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying playing this game in your daily feee time. For active players, I hope all of you have already heard about the upcoming reward card-set which is about to get launched on 15th August. I am also very excited and I guess no one will oppose me when I say save all of your precious Glint tokens now, because it will soon transform into a rat race on who upgrade their cards faster! Also please note, if you will have some chaos legion reward cards left in your collection, now is the best time to try getting them from the reward store, because soon they will all become obsolete and replaced by the upcoming Rebellion edition reward card.

Now looking back to the current Ranked season, we are already close to the midline of this ongoing season and only 9 days left for this season to meet its end. I hope all of you players are fighting with all your strength in the arena, because the closer it will get to the end, the bitter will be the war. For me, I am Currently fighting at Diamond II tier with a current trophy rating of 3,180. In order to reach the next Tier Diamond I, I would require another 220 trophies and I think I can reach there within next 2 or 3 days, if I get lucky of course because the arena will start getting filled with more warriors as time passes.

Now, let us move towards the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another awesome Chaos Legion monster that is rare to see in battles but is heavily defensive. As you have already shaw it in the thumbnail Above, today we will be focusing on Night Ghoul, so without any further ado, lets jump right in!

Night Ghoul

NIGHT GHOUL is a monster card that falls under the Riftwatchers mini edition and comes under Chaos Legion card-set. This is a common type card and its attack type is melee. It costs 11 mana to be used in battles, so you can select this card easily when playing medium to large mana limit matches. This monster belongs to the Death element and apart from its big melee attack, it also holds the Force Field to counter big attacks while Taunting them all on him. So now, let us take a deeper look into its league wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 3, this card possesses 4 melee attack at 2 speed with 5 armour and 10 health as stats and not only that, but it also gets the Taunt ability since its initial level. With the help of this ability, now it will attract every enemy attack on itself.

SILVER

When this card goes to level 5, it gets an increased 5 melee attack at 2 speed with 6 armour and 10 health. But however, it does not get any new ability at this level and also hold the Taunt at this level.

GOLD

As this card gets upgraded to level 8, it possesses 5 melee attack at 3 speed with 6 armour and 10 health and it also hets another new ability called Forcefield from level 6 onwards. With this new ability, wherever a card having this ability gets hit with 5 more more attack power, it will only do 1 damage to him.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally when you upgrade this card to level 10, it gets an increased 6 melee attack at 3 speed with 6 armour and 11 health along with those 2 abilities which I mentioned above.

BATTLE STATS

This time when fighting in the ranked today, I got a big 99 mana limit match where 4 elements were allowed - Earth, Life, Death and Dragon. There were also 3 match rulesets applied in this battle - No Legendaries, Thorns and No Neutral cards. After seeing all the rules, I started thunking about the best possible lineup and finally come out with a good one. First of all, I chose the Death Legendary summoner Astral Entity and at my front position, I chose the Night Ghoul followed by the Queen of Crows, Silent Sha-Vi, Soul Strangler, Cabalist and Dhampir Stalker at the last position. When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent has used the Life summoner General Sloan upon me and at his front position, he has chosen the Drybone Barbarian followed by the Pelacor Conjerur, Time Meddler, Prismologist, Pelacor Arbalest and War Pegasus at the end position.

MATCH PERFORMANCE

As the match started, my Ghoul did an amazing job by absorbing the high 6 attack from enemy Drybone by taking only 1 damage From it, however I killed the Drybone in the very first round thanks to my backline attackers and the enemy Conjerur came at front. Sadly my Ghoul missed its attack upon the Conjerur but somehow, it survived the first round with 4 health.

When the second round started, the enemy Pegasus attacked and wounded my Ghoul’s health down to 1, followed by the Time Meddler’s attack which finally killed down my Ghoul but luckily, my Ghoul got resurrected again via the summoner ability and survived the round with just 1 health and no armour.

At the third round, the enemy War Pegasus again tried to attacked but missed its target on my Ghoul, but my Ghoul’s luck has ended as the Time Meddler then attacked and killed it down. At the end my Queen of Crows evaded multiple attacks and ended the round at front position. However. As the round continues, my Silent Killed the Pegasus and my other monsters took care of the rest enemy monsters and ended the match at fifth round.

I hope you loved watching the battle and also reading my post. Do you also love to use this monster in your battle lineups? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
