Splinterlands | Insidious Warlock wins a flawless match

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the day with hour loved ones and also doing progress well in your life. If you happen to be a splinterlands player, then you must’ve been playing this cool addictive crypto play2earn game daily in your free time and winning rewards that can be traded for real life money! Just Recently a bunch of new cards also got released in this game back on 15th August under the Rewards cards section and all these cards can be bought for free using Glint points which you earn by playing the game actively. So this is simply another win for the daily active players as they will be rewarded with NFT cards for their skills and performance and these cards can not be just bought with money. So it is time for us to play actively now in the ranked arena and win as many matches as we can before the season timer reaches zero to win a bunch of more Glint points depending on our league and SPS staked, and then use those glint points in rewards shop to buy those brand new reward cards. Now looking at my own progress so far in this current season, I am Still playing at Diamond III league with a current trophy rating of 2,920 and having another 7 days in hand, I think I can reach Diamond I only if I play more actively and from now now, I will try and see if I can reach the next tier within next 2 days.

Now moving on, let me comes to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another monster but this one is quite rare to see in battlefield and today I just wanted to use this in matches to see if its really worth having in deck or not. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail Above, today I will be talking about INSIDIOUS WARLOCK. So without any further ado, let us jump right in.

INSIDIOUS WARLOCK

INSIDIOUS WARLOCK is a monster card that comes under the Chaos Legion edition cardset. This card belongs to the Death element and this cards costs 5 mana to be used in battles. This card’s attack type is magic but it only does attack in every other round but gives way more damage. This is an epic type card so you will need a total pf 46 BCX of cards to upgrade this card into max level. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats ans abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 2 magic attack at 2 speed with 5 health and it also gets an ability since it’s initial level called Recharge. With this new ability, this monster attacks every other round but deals with 3x damage.

SILVER

When upgraded to level 3, this cards stats gets increased to 2 magic attack at 2 speed with an increased 6 health. However, it does not get any new ability at this level.

GOLD

As this card reaches level 5, it receives the same stats as of silver level - 2 magic attack at 2 speed with 6 health, but it does get a new ability called Blind from level 4 onwards. With this new ability, it increases all enemy melee and ranged monster chance of missing their target by 15%. So now, you can evade more attacks from enemy monsters while Killing them Down one by one.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally when you upgrade this card to level 6, it possesses an increased 3 magic attack at 2 speed with 6 health but does not get any new abilities at this last level. However, the increased magic attack along with the Recharge ability will give you enough firepower in the match.

BATTLE STAT

I was looking for a suitable math to use my Warlock and finally after playing some Matches, I finally found a good one. It was a 58 mana limit match where 4 elements were allowed to choose - Fire, Water, Life and Death. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Only Magic, Only Odd Mana Cards and Noxious Fumes and after thinking for my lineup, I finally came out with a strategy and started building my lineup accordingly. For this math first of all, I chose the Death summoner Thuddious Brood and at my first defence position, I chose the Djinn Muirat followed by Nalara Geinek, Insidious Warlock, Life Sapper, Kabalist and Barashkukor at the end position of my lineup. When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent has used the Life summoner General Sloan against me and at his front position, he has chosen the Iziar followed by Djinn Renova, Spirit Hoarder and Temporal Master at his last position. His lineup is feeling a little weak against me and lets see how my Warlock performs in this match.

BATTLE BEGINS

As the fight started, my Barashkukor launched the first attack followed by my Kabalist and both of them together damaged the Iziar’s health down to 4, followed by my Life Sapper and Nalara’s attack and the Nalara also applied stun upon it. The enemy Djinn finally launched the first attack from opponent side and sadly got damaged by the magic reflect ability, followed by the Hoarder who got died by the same cause, so the Magic reflect was very useful here and also by then, I had also successfully killed down the Iziar by my Muirat. At round 2 , all the monsters receive 2 damage from the poison ability and then, my Barashkukor launched the first attack again and killed Down the Renova, followed by the death of the last monster Temporal Master and I won the match only at second round. It was a flawless win as none of my Monsters died
In this match and also, I won some SPS mad Glint as well from this match as my reward.

I hope all of you liked reading my post about Warlock and also loved watching the match which I shared and talked about above. Do you have this monster in your deck and used it ever? Let me know know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
