Splinterlands | My preparation for the ongoing Conflict airdrop

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the day well with your family and friends. I hope all of you are doing well in the game and playing your daily ranked missions and earning rewards. But suddenly splinterlands players have started to follow 2 clock timers instead of 1. The first one is the old season clock timer on which, it is showing 6 days that is left for this ongoing ranked season to end and the second is the newly added conflict clock timer that is showing the countdown for the first rebellion airdrop card to be unlocked and distributed. Yes, with the new update, the Conflict mechanism has been introduced to splinterlands and now, users have to stake rebellion packs and cards in order to get chances of receiving airdrop cards.

The new Conflict mechanism has been made to encourage people to hold their card and also play actively in the game is possible, because the cards you are staking on wagon to be able to earn airdrop chances will be unavailable for renting, delegating, selling or even burning until you unstake it from the wagon but however, you can play with those cards in your account while they are staked in your wagons. So overall, its a good update for real players, especially for the ones who are targeting to play competitively in modern format because they have to get those rebellion cards anyway. However, I think this will go far and less people would want to rent out their cards and start playing to maximise their return or hire a Scholar in that case. The rent prices will also go high and it i already for the rebellion cards. So the change is shaking the traditional mindset in the game environment with both old and new players and hope this approach protects the value of both rebellion packs and cards over long term.

I have also embarked on a journey to gather these precious Rebellion cards and have increased my speed of collecting them since the conflict mechanism has started. There will be total 9 airdrop Cards so even if I start slow on the first 2-3 card but keep continuing, I will have a decent rebellion stack by the next airdrop comes and I don't have to think much for buying these airdrop cards later with huge money if I get my hands even in some of them. Till now, I have already gathered some max level Rebellion cards so far along with a handful more of some low upgraded cards and I got them all by buying from the card market. I am currently staking all of them in wagons and they are earning contribution points. For every 100k contribution points you earn 1 chance (every chance has the probability to bring you an airdrop card) and for every 200 chance, it earns you a guarantee card at least. Even if I can get 1 single airdrop card from the first conflict, I will be the happiest to be honest so I will keep trying if I can add anymore cards before this conflict ends which another 27 days and 4 hours.

As you can see from above, I have bought a total of 10 rebellion cards so far and all of them are staked in the first 2 wagons in where, I kept all the 5 legendary cards in the first one that is earning me 28,875 contribution points alone and in the second one, I have kept my 4 rare cards and the single common card and I am earning 11,760 points from all 5 of them. The rest cards that I am currently staking in my other wagons are some gold and bronze level cards that I am planning to upgrade next to max level and from those 3 wagons I am earning 3025, 305 and 15 contribution points and overall, all of these 5 wagons containing all my rebel assets are all together earning me 43,980 points per hour. Till now, I have been able to collect only 23 chances so far and still a long away from even reaching at least 1 guarantee card, but I will not be stopping until I reach 100k contribution points per hour which is my current Goal in splinterlands.

I am also glad to buy a few max level rebel cards recently and among them, my best 3 recent buys that I personally think are - Nalara Geinek, Runeseer Sevaya and Barashkukor where all these 3 are legendary monster cards. I am also starting to play with my own account again from Monday again after taking a long break, So I hope these new rebel cards serve me we and makes me more powerful.

I hope you liked reading my post and also working on your conflict journey as well. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next Post.
