Splinterlands | The BTC Halving Sale Event is live

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also playing this amazing card based strategic play2earn game in your daily life. Well, the crypto market took a sharp unexpected turn just before the Bitcoin halving event and I guess none of us expected this sudden reverse trend but it happened anyway and most of the crypto tokens and coins are currently producing red candles including our beloved SPS and DEC. if we look at the current market status, SPS is being traded for 0.0014$ per unit and DEC is being sold for 0.0008$ per unit. But I am getting a good feeling that within the next 2 or 3 months after the halving event, things will turn green again and we may see a gradual uptrend again. So don't lose hope and keep accumulating SPS while the price is low, which I think would be the best move for us right now.

My ranked Progress

Now, taking a look at my present in-game stats, the fresh new ranked season only started just recently and we have around 13 long days to reach our goals before the season end and I have already started playing into ranked with full force. Right now, I am playing at Diamond League and as I am lacking money to invest, I have decided not to invest in renting cards until the season end comes, so I will be depending on my own collection for now and play with what I have. Currently, I am playing in the Diamond III tier with a trophy rating of 3020 as I have lost some matches back to back and hope I reach Diamond II soon and into the Champ League within the next couple of days. I also requested for an SPS delegation yesterday of a total of amount of 210k SPS and today the order got filled finally. So I am earning around 17-21 SPS per ranked win which is very eye-soothing to see every time I win a match. I have spent around 4700 DEC for the delegation and it will last 7 days, so overall it will be beneficial and I may end up profiting from this little investment. Now looking at my Glint accumulation, I have not touched a single glint from my last season's rewards and also saving all my Glint earnings in this current season and so far I have collected a total of 351,366 Glint so far. I haven't decided what would I do with Glint but if I manage to reach 1 million Glint within the next 2 seasons, I may end up buying the Title that costs 1 million Glint. On the other hand, I may also decide to use these glint tokens to buy battle energies cause I am renting a large amount of SPS and the ranked SPS earning is also very good right now.

Halving event sale

Moving on, let us take a quick look at the official splinterlands market as there is a new event going in to celebrate the Bitcoin halving event. Yes, just like the last Bitcoin halving event this time also there is a card sale event going on with a lots of prizes to win and this time, the team has launched 2 brand new cards which can be bought in the official shop. The first card is named Baron which is a dual element legendary monster card that is listed for sale for 31,250 dec or credits per BCX. This card belongs to the Fire and Death element and the attack type of this card is magic and costs 5 mana to be used in battles. The other card that also launched with this event is called Henchling Enforcer and this is also a dual element rare type card and is listed for 3125 DEC or credits per BCX. This monster card supports both Life and Water elements and costs 6 mana to be used in battles and the attack type of this card is ranged. In my opinion, both of these cards are very powerful considering their stats and abilities and of course, both of them comes with the Halving ability. Sadly, I don't have enough money to partake in the event and buy those cards, but I will be keeping an eye on the market in the future and grab them if I find good deals on them.

Rebellion airdrop

Last but not least, we should not forget about the Rebellion airdrop cards as well and if you are staking your Rebellion cards in wagons and collecting chances for the airdrop, then you must be waiting for the next airdrop card Venka which is about to get airdropped after around 5 days and 10 hours. Just like many of you, I have been also staking rebellion cards since the beginning of the airdrop and for this upcoming card, I have collected a total of 766 chances so far. For Venka which is the next airdrop card, for every 275 chances there will be one guaranteed card and according to my calculation, I will be getting at least 3 guaranteed cards this time and if I get lucky like last time, I may get one extra. So let me cross my fingers and wait for this next airdrop card to get unlocked.
