What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying a beautiful day with your loved ones and also playing this awesome strategy game in your daily free time. I hope by now all of you have claimed your Glint rewards from the last ranked season and have already started playing in this ongoing season. The last season has only ended last night and I hope all of you were successful in reaching your goals and for me, I also completed my goal by reaching the Champion League and very happy with my achievement because I couldn't reach my goal in previous seasons. However, though I reached the Champion league, during playing in the last hours I lost a lot of matches which caused me to come down to Diamond I again and now after the reason trophy reset, I have again come down to Diamond III Tier. As usual, I have again started playing for this season with the same goal and let’s see how much time it takes to reach my goal this time.

Now allow me to come toward the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about old reward cards that I believe are still very helpful in modern format matches. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about Ferexian Hero. So without any further ado, let us jump right in.

Ferexian Hero

FEREXIAN HERO is a monster type card that falls under the Chaos Legion Card set. It is a reward type card and this monster belongs to the Fire element. Its attack type is melee and it costs 8 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily choose this card while playing medium to large mana limit matches. It is a legendary type card so you will need a total of 11 BCX to upgrade this card to max level. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 1, this card possesses 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 7 health and it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level - Weapons Training and Reach. With the help of the Weapons Training ability, this card can give 3 melee attack powers to its adjacent monsters if they are attack less and on the other hand, with the help of the Reach ability it can attack from the second position of your lineup.

SILVER

At level 2, this monster’s attack power gets increased from 3 to 4 at the same 3 speed with 1 armour and 7 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above.

GOLD

At level 3, this monster receives 4 melee attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 8 health and it also gets a new ability called Reflection shield. This new ability will save it from damages caused by Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns and Return Fire.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to level 4, it gets an increased 5 melee attack at 3 speed with 3 armour and 9 health along with those 3 abilities that I mentioned above but it does not get any new ability at its max level.

BATTLE LINK

BATTLE STAT

This time I got a medium 39 mana limit match where 3 elements were available to choose from - Fire, Water and Dragon. There were also 2 rulesets applied in this battle - Divine Shield and Weak Magic and after looking at all the rules in this particular match, I started thinking of a strategy and then started building my lineup accordingly. For this match, I chose the Dragon Summoner Quix the Devious with Fire cards and at my first position, I chose the Ildri Fyre followed by Ferexian Hero, Lava Launcher, Pyrewatch Devil, Ash Mirage and Naga Assassin at my last position.

When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Legendary Water summoner Possibilus the Wise and at his front position, he chose the Cruel Sethropod followed by Diemonshark, Deeplurker, Doctor Blight, Angelic Mandarin and Wave Brood at the end position of his lineup.

As the match began, my Ferexian Hero gave 3 melee attack to the Ildri Fyre thus turning it into an attacker. As the Fyre has the Taunt ability and is being placed in first position, all the enemy monsters started targeting it while my backline monsters were unharmed and they continued attacking his enemy monster Wave Brood located at the last position. When My Ferexian’s turn came, it brutally attacked the Cruel and broke his armour down to 2.

At round 2, my Devil killed down the Wave Brood and then when my Hero’s turn came, it finally killed down its first victim Cruel. At round 3, my Ildry died and Ferexian Hero came at the front position and gladly, it again attacked and this time killed down the enemy Diemonshark. However at round 4 after getting poisoned, it only had 5 health and no armour remaining. Next, my Devil took another life, this time the Deeplurker and then both the Lava and Hero attacked the enemy Blight and left it with only 1 health. In the next round, my Naga attacked first and milled down the Blight and then the only minster left on the enemy side was the Angelic Mandarin which got killed by the Lava and this, I won another amazing match.

I hope you all loved watching the battle and also liked reading my post about it. Do you also use Hero often, let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
