Crypto Assets Bear Run….
I remember during the 2008 Great Recession many of the elder generation of the time were saying through difficult times people will learn to adopt and forge ahead for better days. “This to shall pass.”
Let’s face reality here. As crypto broad market continues to fall so is the Splinterland’s asset value. The numbers look bleak and there does not seem to be an in sight.
My plan now is to continue buying and increasing my numbers even if the value of the crypto is falling. I am hoping to prepare for the next bull run if and when it comes.
I plan to liquidate some of my Nightmare packs to gain liquidity for big purchases. My thought is since I do not have enough time to play the new Soulkeep I want to gain a better experience with what I am already playing in Splinterlands. The proceeds I collect would be use toward building up my deck and hopefully may even transition in modern league gameplay.
As seen right now Nightmare packs seem to be holding up in value with respect to other packs. It remains to be seen if it can go much higher in price for Nightmare packs.
I am in no rush so will hold off selling more packs until I see a next big push in prices. If it doesn’t come I have the patience to wait and hold the packs for later date.
On side note it appears players have already figured out the quantities per card for the Nightmare packs. As more and more packs gets open the numbers should fall in line with the chart above.
Me holding packs maybe another option. Where if odds for pulling higher rarity cards is in my favor I can open packs and sell individual cards.

The bearish prices will probably continue and I think Soulkeep is still pretty hot as it is new. I do think that prices will go down so taking out a few packs and using for Splinterlands is the better choice. However, we don't know if the changes that Splinterlands is doing are helpful either. So everything comes with a cost.
