My Milestone 160k SPS Staked.

I recently hit a new personal high in staked sps. Along the way I took some time to reflect how far I have come and what I hope to achieve down the road.

It is downright ugly to see sps is now closer to half a cent a piece compare to where it was at its initial airdrop. I can still remember more than one Hive to each sps was tradable. I now wish I had sold sps back in the day only so I can buy back more today.

In fact since sps price drop it has come to my attention that if I had simply sold sps at airdrop and come back to game a couple years later I could have bought back more and played less. This is where I have some dilemma.

Every time assets drop in price I have the choice of whether to hold on or just quit. If I had quit a couple years back I would be much more profitable than current situation. Asset prices simply are not holding up even though the game is still relevant at present time.

Putting in the hours but gaining nothing is a bit frustrating. There are days I simply don’t have the time and or motivation to play. Then add on top even when I do I am basically earning Pennys.

Some say we do things for the experiences. Not for the outcome. Yet repeating the same thing on a daily basis and expecting different outcome is simply insanity. I have a lot of fun in the beginning but definitely this is getting old.

The starting cost and continue investment to play the game has increase to the point that I think has hurt the game more than help. I know there are plenty of updates in the pipeline but without mass adoption the game remains low in activity and making it less valuable.

I want to end my rant on a positive note. I got overall a large number of stake sps. Now on to even more asset accumulation. At the end of this whether it was worth it or not won’t matter as much fun I have with the game. Through the years I stood by the game mostly. I remain positive and play daily. I am not stopping. At least not today.
