Reviewing My Progress Oct 2024
I am steadily reaching a big milestone in stacked sps. I have seen countless whales showing their millions of sps but I am still thrill to soon reach 170k. I was hoping to get to 200k by year end but it will be unlikely as I am also trying to stake more Hive.
Still progress has been made and Splinterlands asset prices seem to hold up reasonable compare to where they were just a couple of months ago.
My overall card collection $ value is far from its peak but relative to cp and pp values I am near personal all time highs. I still remain hopeful to reach to 2 million cp but will have to forgo purchasing cards since it’s not my priority. Instead it is to continue building my stake sps in order to balance out my investments and seek long term appreciation.
In terms of holding cards for long term it appears new card sets always Trump legacy cards. Therefore I don’t plan to purchase cards being a priority. In terms of getting to 200k staked sps at least that will continue to collect me some passive income while it also appears the price of sps is coming off a low.
My strategy is simple. Continue playing daily and add as much sps as I can while not spending more than I need to with the staked sps.

It sounds like a decent strategy. Is the SPS making it so that you earn a lot more Glint/SPS in ranked battles? I have found that increasing mine by a few hundred seems to give minimal increases.
I am earning about 6 sps for ever battle in gold I. Glint a little over 400. Indeed a larger stake seems to give better results. Incremental adds will add up as you stake more sps.
