Splinterlands New Set Rental

avatar

Today there was news of a batch rental feature in game that is worth taking a look. When I first saw it there appears to be limitation to only chaos bronze league set for rent but think in time more sets will be available.

In the past we had to select each card from individually to rent out but third party projects such as peakmonsters helped with tracking multiple card rentals and had batch cards rentals in place. I enjoyed using their tools to do my rentals but now with in game updating with such a feature it is nice to know that any player can easily access batch rentals.

I think this will reduce the learning curve and make more players willing to rent. Increase demand and we may simply have increase in values.

First glance over the interface it looks easy to use. The cards are broken into splinter elements and then based on rarity. A very quick and easy way to go through cards for individual search with batch selection possible.

The batch rental can be an easy one button selection and paid in terms of credits or Dec. This makes onboarding for new players much much easier.

I think that is an easy way for people to get started. It gives them cards to use and they can figure out how to play based on that. It's a good step towards onboarding new users and getting them to stay.
