Animated Corpse Leads The Army Of Death!

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use Animated Corpse 🧟‍♂️

The sneak ability is prohibited 🚫 and all monsters must have 4 or less mana.

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Animated Corpse 🧟‍♂️ is a Death ☠️ Monster, I began by choosing my ☠️ summoner. I picked, Zintar Mortalis- a powerful Death ☠️ Summoner!

Zintar Mortalis is the leading Dark Summoner. His renown has earned him the right to have a name, which is rare among the Dark Eternal collective. As a powerful summoning wizard, Zintar is the closest thing Mortis knows to a celebrity. When facing Zintar Mortalis in a summoner’s battle, only the bravest opponents do not cower in fear.

I hate the Death ☠️ Splinter. I usually lose, big time, when I battle with this splinter! I was ready to lose, but when I saw I was up against the same splinter, my confidence grew!

In my tank position, I chose (the star of the show,) Animated Corps! This card has some pretty good stats. It has the Void ability which reduces damage from Magic attacks.

Horny Toad followed. It's not very impressive, but the low mana fit perfectly in the rule-set! It's reach ability allowed it to attack from this position!

I then chose, Death Elemental for his awesome speed. I love magic attacks because of the versatility! I do not think I ever used this card, but the Lomana made it a no brainer!

Parasitic Growth was chosen to be in the fourth position. This card has OK stats, but I like him for it’s opportunity ability! Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

Twisted Jester was fifth. His low mana and awesome stats, made him the perfect choice! I was hoping he'd pummel the enemy from behind, with his speedy attack!

Centaur, anchored the team. I chose this card mainly for the decent range attack and speed. The heath was just OK. I knew he would die relatively quickly, but he could Quickly inflict some nice damage on the enemy.

My battle went a short 2 rounds, and I only lost 2 monsters. My Animated Corpse stayed animated! I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
