Brawl Report 16 Sept 2024

Greetings Praetoria!

I hope everyone is doing well. Another Brawl has concluded and I would like to share my performance at Fray 3 Bronze Wild Format.

Low 18 mana and only Life Splinter available, I went for pure magic attack with 2 healers. Lorna Shine gave my team Divine Shield for that extra line of defense. Fun Fact: Divine Shield does not stack.

Queen Quora was banned on my side which the opponent made use of. My monsters did not have a chance 😅.

With the FabFour ruleset, since only 4 monsters can be picked, I opted for monsters which attacks twice. Immortalis ability of -1 health to all enemy and shatter was a big help too.

Both of us expected a melee line up so Mylor Crowling was chosen as summoner. This was my chance to use one of the new cards Halfling Refugee. For only 1 mana, it provides a good meat shield at the back while giving 2 melee attack (unless the Weary ability kicks in in which he doesn't attack😒) It also gains heal at level 3 which is a great upgrade.

I placed Thane Newsong at the back to protect against sneak monsters plus providing Inspire giving all my melee monsters additional 1 attack. 1 mana Epona with Strenghten ability, was also helpful as it gives plus 1 health to my whole team. Basically, all the monsters that I chose was able to compliment each other to make a good team.

As a result of this brawl, our guild mitriiman squad placed 5th, with each participating member getting 1,531 merits and 20.482 SPS.
