Middle-Earthling's Brawl Report

Greetings Praetorians!
Let me share with you another surprising outcome from the recently concluded brawls. Once again I battled in Bronze Tier Wild Format.

Opponent had a beefier 2nd tank and my monsters missed quite a few attacks because of Astral Entity's Dodge ability. But Yodin Zaku's Blast damage was more than enough to secure the win.

With only 3 Splinters to choose from and very limited mana pool, we both opted to use the ever-reliable Captain Katie as our main monster. Opponent had the first bloodlust activated, but after my Captain Katie got buffed from Venari Marksrat, she became unstoppable.

Ruleset was Wands Out, Back to Basics and Up to Eleven. I was deciding between Immortalis and Grandmaster Rathe as both are good summoners against magic, but finally opted for the green splinter as these monster had more health.

My opponent banned Quora from being used by me, and somehow I was expecting him to use his level 2 Quora. But I believe if he used another attacking monster instead of clockwork aide, the outcome may be different.

I believe this match is one example of what is refered to as a Flawless Victory. None of my monsters health was reduced 😆. But the opponent was only using low level rewards cards, so that advantage was really mine.

As only 5 players from our guild " mitriiman squad " participated, we only got 700 merits and 9.159 sps in this brawl, placing 7th out of 10 teams.
