How do you plan your goals from one season to the other in terms of cards evolution and also (potentially) earnings potential?

I'd really like to max out a few of the soulbound reward cards before they get replaced by the new soulbound edition (not sure when that would be, maybe in 6 months?)... so that's my main goal.
