The Adviser of the Great Council
Good day Splinterlands Community! Hello, SplinterFam welcome to another SHARE YOUR BATTLE WEEKLY CHALLENGE! featuring an Epic Monster from the Light Element the Temporal Master.
An Epic Light Monster from the Chaos Legion edition.
• Lore
The horologe node is the first focus. The annulus scepter the second. But to ascend to the highest levels of the craft the anachron time mage must abandon talismans and operate by mind alone. For the rare adept blessed by visions of the turning wheel they can shift the flow of siphilum in time's flow by sheer force of will.
It is these Temporal Masters that advised the great council until the highest in their order, the High Magus Obin Anvaras, betrayed them. Those that remain hunger for a chance to reknit time and erase the chaos heresy that brought the Legion to the Splinterlands.
• Stats
At Levels 1 to 3 which is playable at the Novice to Silver League, it has 1 magic attack, 2 speed and 2 HP (+1 HP every level) and Recharge ability (This Monster attacks every other round but does 3x damage) which deals 3 magic damage every other round.
At Level 4 and 5 playable in Gold League it gains additional magic damage and it deals 6 magic damage every other round.
Playing in the Diamond and Champion League it has an additional Stun ability ( When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn
50% chance of activation) which is very useful in her Recharge ability.I don't use this card very much because for me he is not very necessary in the league I play which is the silver league but as I play I realize that this card is still good to use in low mana battle, armored up, back to basics, little league and reverse speed rule sets.
• Battle
• Combat Rules
This is a Silver League Battle with an 18 mana cap and the rule is Reverse Speed (Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.)
Available Splinter: Water, Light, Death and Dragon.
• Line up
Monster | Position | |
---|---|---|
3⭐ General Sloan | Summoner General Sloan provides +1 range attack to all my range monsters | |
3⭐ Gargoya Scrapper | Tank (1 melee, 2 speed and 2 HP) with Void ability (Reduced damage from Magic attacks. Attack damage gets halved (rounded up), except attack 1 which deals 0 damage) I pick this 1 mana cost normal monster as a decoy. It gives a little time to our main damage dealers. | |
3⭐ Celestial Harpy | Dps/Opportunity (2 melee attack, 2 speed and 3 HP) with Flying ( Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability +25% chance of evading.) and Opportunity abilities ( Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health) with low speed and Flying ability Celestial Harpy in this battle is a good choice as Off-tank it may dodge some melee and range attack from the enemies. | |
4⭐ Stitch Leech | Sneak (3 melee attack, 2 speed and 3 HP) with Sneak ability ( Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster) for the main damage dealer of enemy's team. | |
2⭐ Temporal Master | Dps (1 magic attack, 2 speed and 3 HP) I put this Temporal Master in 4th position so she can freely deal damage to the enemy. | |
1⭐ Herbalist | Dps (1 range attack, 1 speed and 2 HP) | |
2⭐ Xenith Archer | Dps (1 range attack, 1 speed and 3 HP)This monster together with Herbalist are the perfect choice in this low mana and reverse speed battle. |
In this battle, my strategy here is to pick monsters with low mana cost, low speed and decent damage I also complete the 6 positions because the more monsters we have the more damage we can deal.
Let's see what our opponents bring in this battle.
Our opponent brings:
- Mother Khala for an additional 1 HP to all allied monsters.
- Chaos Knight is a tank with Shield ability.
- Gargoya Scrapper - Off-tank
- Celestial Harpy - Opportunity monster.
- Pelacor Arbalest - his main damage dealer.
Let's see what will happen in this battle.
Round 1
Starts with Buffing and debuff of all Summoners and monsters. Our 2-range monster gains +1 range attack.
Our Gargoya Scrapper was the 1st one to fall in this battle. Stitch Leech plays a big role he immediately takes the main damage dealer of the enemy which is the Pelacor Arbalest.
Round 2
The Celestial Harpy is now in the 1st position her Flying ability was a big help she was able to dodge the attack coming from Chaos Knight.
Stitch Leech killed again another monster in the backline of our enemy, the Celestial Harpy.
Chaos Knight also falls in this round in the hands of Temporal Master.
Round 3
In this round, we surely take the victory in this battle it's 1 vs. 5.
Herbalist and Xenith Archer didn't prolong the fight as they immediately attacked Gargoya Scrapper.

Did my strategy work?
Yes! We win. Only one monster was killed in our team.
Do I like Temporal Master?
Not that much. As I said earlier I didn't use this card because it's not essential in the league that I was playing.
What will I do next time?
Keep improving my skills and also my owned cards.
