The Splinterlands pack buying frenzy has died down a little but the packs keep getting sold little by little. I just checked the shop and it seems like we're going to see more than 50% sold before the end of the week.

People on hive engine seem to be selling their packs at a huge discount compared to the in-game shop. The last recorded price was $3.11 that's a 20%+ discount, I know you don't get the chance of entering the card airdrops but lots of people seem to be happy with that deal since the 24 hours volume was almost $20K.

The secondary market is contributing a lot to the slowdown in sales but I don't think it will last forever. Has more and more people buy and open the packs the selling pressure will reduce and prices should increase to the point where people would rather buy directly from the SPL store and qualify for all future cards airdrops.

Well, I will keep staking SPS, getting my vouchers, selling them to buy more packs until they eventually sell out. When do you think the packs will sell out? I'm guessing around May...
