Ladies of Hive Community Contest #202 - Hair Care routines

For this week the questions for @Ladiesofhive - Contest #202 are:
1️⃣ Given the influence of global beauty standards on our perceptions of hair, many individuals strive for thick and strong hair to achieve their desired styles. Hair loss can be particularly distressing and is often perceived as a significant issue. Have you experienced hair loss yourself? If so, how did it impact your emotional well-being? Were you able to identify an effective solution, or have you found ways to cope with it calmly and confidently?
~ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 / 𝐎𝐑 ~
2️⃣ Quality conversation is widely regarded as a crucial component in building and strengthening relationships. In your opinion, what constitutes a quality conversation? What elements do you believe enhance the quality of our interactions? Could you share a personal experience where improving the quality of your conversation led to a noticeable improvement in your relationship?

Hair is one part of me which I am very particular about. The only thing for which I visit a Salon is for hair treatments. Not that I do much with it, but the normal hair cut and spa is mandatory once a quarter. Otherwise I follow all home remedies on day to day basis for my hair care.
I prepare a hair mask at home which I use once a week, the hair mask is a mix of onion peels, nigella (kalonji) seeds, fenugreek, curry leaves, flax seeds. All of this is first roasted and then grinded into fine powder. At the time of use I mix a little aloe gel and coconut oil and then apply it to the hair and leave it for 2 to 3 hrs and then wash it up. Trust me over the years doing this therapy has kept my hair strong and healthy.

When I shifted to middle east one common story I heard from everyone was of hair loss because of the hard water and I was so scared of it and since then I started this therapy which is now 9 years and it has helped me a lot. Not only it has helped me with healthy hair but also it has taken care of the greying part with aging. I am 50 now and I still do not use any hair dye, my hair is natural and black and many do not believe me when I tell them that I do not color my hair. I have a few grey strands but they cannot be seen, it gets hidden under the black hair. I also have a oiling routine, which is twice a week and I use a herbal oil which has been very effective.

This is all about my hair care routine. Good hair is a surely a confidence booster for me.

On the second question, for me a quality conversation happens when both the people have the ability to listen to each other. Normally I see conversations get lost or gets interrupted losing it's essence when the opposite person does not have good listening skills. For an effective conversation to happen the most important thing needed is effective listening skills and that's what enhances the quality of the conversation.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

The way you used in maintaining your hair is superb, other than dying which mostly work for people, treatment of hair is necessary as it contribute to a lot of beauty's in us.

I have seen a lot of recipes surrounding flax seeds for hair and skin treatment. I don’t have a natural hair though. Don’t know if that’ll work anyway

That's what happen when you take good care of your hair. I am so lazy when it comes to that and now I'm complaining because of my hair loss. It is all really my fault. Home remedies are really effective if you are consistent on it, which I had a hard time doing while trying coconut oil and aloe vera before.

It's ok, it's never too late. Matter of few weeks and you can reverse the condition.
Also if you have too much of hair fall you need to check on your gut health, because when your gut is not healthy you can have hair fall problems

Wowww. At the age of 50 you are having naturally black hair. That's impressive. It's like your hard work pays you.
I am 33 and I am already seeing grey strands in my hair.

Your routine for hair care inspired me a lot !LADY

I guess, it also worked because I never colored my hair. I have seen my friends doing that from an early age and their greying has started much earlier

I never coloured either, but still it has started turning silver earlier

It's a very good therapy. You can also try it out in this way, Oil your hair and keep it for 2 to 3 hours and then wash it, at the end of the wash use the Aloe gel as conditioner. It gives a very smooth texture to the hair
