Finally Maxing Out My First Rare Gladiator Card: Cutter Brieze
However, things have sped up recently, thanks to the new Glint reward system. With the extra Merits from chests, it’s become a bit easier to accumulate packs, and I’m starting to see the results. My first maxed Gladiator, Cutter Brieze, may not be the strongest card in the Gladiator set, but its value lies in its flexibility. At just one mana, it can fit into almost any battle, especially in those tricky low-mana matches. And in a game like Splinterlands, having versatile cards is crucial when trying to optimize strategy.
Now that I’ve crossed this milestone, I’m even more motivated to keep grinding for more Merits and packs. With the growing chatter in the community about the likelihood of a new Gladiator edition coming soon, time feels limited. Everyone is in a race to finish their collections before a new set potentially changes the dynamics of Gladiator cards. I know I need to keep pushing to max out as many cards as possible before that day arrives.
While Cutter Brieze might not be a top-tier card, this achievement feels significant because it marks progress in a system that takes time and dedication. With a lot of the community now reaping the benefits of the new Glint rewards, it's an exciting period to be actively playing Splinterlands. I’m looking forward to maxing out even more Gladiator cards in the future and building a truly competitive Brawl deck.
Onward to more packs and more maxed Gladiators!

Absolute beast for 1 mana! Congrats dude
Thanks!
Congrats on you first maxed gladiator! I still have a decent path to my first maxed gladiator.
Congrats mate. My first maxed gladiator turned out to be a legendary, but the rares were the first rarity I was able to max out completely. I'm only 3 RF legendaries away from completing the set.
