Splinterlands: Optimizing for SPS AirDrop

Since this is the main focus of most of my Blockchain ventures, I have and intend to spend plenty of time to review each detail to prepare and seek to optimize for opportunities. The obvious opportunity at the moment is to prepare for the player AirDrop which I believe has been structured in a great way to incentivize old and new players over a one year period. The basis for the AirDrop will be the assets held by players every day so it allows for old players to benefit from their resources but also new players to slowly build their collections and benefit.
I have participated on most of the assets in the ecosystem as I was drawn early to the game for the Collection aspect. I put in time and resources to accumulate as much possible to maximize my Collection for being able to complete at a high level. While my skills have not scaled at the same proportion, I have gotten my Collection to a place I am proud of. Not much extra but nothing missing.
However, I never did really get into the Skins that change the appearance of some of the early Alpha and Beta card Editions. I always enjoyed seeing them for their art but I have never been a player focused on cosmetics (from a console perspective). In a recent AMA, the team said that they will likely enable ways to transfer these skins which got me interested in them. I also read how they will be attributed points for the AirDrop and while it is basically one for one for the DEC they cost, the Guild discounts provide an arbitrage opportunity in that we get more points for skins than the discounted costs of the skin sets.
That was enough for me to jump in and purchase a full set once the Guild discount was at its max for the Season. Luckily, I always look to accumulate DEC for these opportunities and had enough. As I see all the other assets in the ecosystem fly off the shelves as player demand has increased in preparation for the AirDrop, I would think that the skins will be a target once the others are sold out! The excitement continues as there is still so much more to learn from the game!
