Greeting!!

While randomly scrolling, when I came across the contest of Splinterland, I thought that I must participate and give my entry to add value in this contest, so I prepared an entry for intake in the contest of Splinterland game. Started with the digital art.

My inspirational character was GOLDEN DRAGON. Reason for choosing the golden dragon was to make something unique and fun, so I thought why not make this dragon look like it actually came out of gold.

This is the character Golden Dragon from the splinterland game I made my digital art from his reference.

In the material I didn't use anything special to make it, just used the ibis PaintX software inside a mobile and also used a stylus pen.

This is a step-by-step process of creating a digital sketch
I've merged it into one image so I don't have to attach images again and again. I made his face like a dragon and I've shown him coming out of an egg to bring the uniqueness into it so that this golden dragon is hatched from a golden egg.

After creating the golden dragon and golden egg I chose some flowers and leaves for the background around it to give the dragon the feeling of being in the forest. After the outline of the whole dragon was done I made everything. The background plants, his mouth, his eyes, his horns, and the dragon egg. After making everything I took this last picture which is number three.

First, I colored the dragon's egg a light yellow color, keeping in mind the dragon's golden color, so that it and the dragon wouldn't be the same color.

In the second step I colored the flowers and leaves around the dragon to match their colors
Like red and dark inside the flowers like color and green inside the leaves also I painted brown inside the palms and also brown inside the stones.

Then I moved on to the dragon. I colored the dragon so that it looked golden instead of yellow. When I colored the egg first, it looked yellow, but when I brushed it with a smudge brush It actually started to give a golden color.

It must have taken me more than an hour to make his whole body because it was impossible for me to fully shade him and this was my first time shading something like this. It's not perfect but it's better than what I used to do, I know I've improved from it and inshallah I'll keep working hard to improve my digital art.

After that, looking at my reference dragon, I made it blue and set it all by gently removing the shading that was sticking out.

All that was left was to create the background and after creating the background I made it something like this. Inside the background I added some leaves which will enhance its beauty and I used sky blue color behind. So that it gives the same color that we had inside the reference image. I changed it because this is a new creation that is hatching from an egg, this is a baby dragon, I hope you like it.
