My art: OBSIDIAN // Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 173

Hi to all!
This week I want to join Splinterlands Art Contest (Week 173) with a picture OBSIDIAN. This is a card Earth Summoner. It increases lightning.

And as always, I will show how my step-by-step drawing process took place. ✏️

I start my drawing as always with a contour. We sharpen a very simple pencil by this time and get to work.

Then I randomly choose the color from which to start painting. I chose a light green.

I continue to paint. So far, I have simple colored pencils in my arsenal of tools. But later I will add other tools.

Although the picture is not yet bright, it is becoming more interesting.

Different pencils are used.

And here I have already decided to draw a face, an eye, lips. Look, it is already gaining expression.

Imagine, at this point I had to interrupt my drawing and continue the next day. So, all the following processes began to paint the next day. I continue to paint:

Here I come to the design of hair. It was a little difficult.

And now I have started another not very easy task - a staff.

I add dark colors:

Having painted the picture, the final touches, the frame:

And finally the final stage: I photograph the finished picture!
